Amazing room, we had a deluxe suite with a private patio and private jacuzzi. Amazing food all day. Spa was divine. Staff was amazing, knowledgeable and resourceful. Will come back for sure!!

Excellent and quiet get away
The staff was very accomodating. My wife has been ill and we had to make several trips to the hospital in town which was very close. The staff worked with us to reschedule activities. We had to check out early and the staff was very helpful. Its a great place to relax that is close to town

A beautiful property and an amazing experience. The atmosphere, rooms, staff, and food are all excellent. The hotel is tastefully decorated. Waking up to the sounds of birds is relaxing. We did a few tours through the hotel and they were all well thought out and enjoyable. We communicated with the hotel via whats app before arriving and their communication was on point. The hotel is a warm and happy place. They are dedicated to giving you a great experience and not nickel and dime you. This is truly a family run hotel where everyone is made to feel welcome. My Tibetan mother and I were even more warmed to see Tibetan furniture around the hotel - side by side and complementing the local artisan furniture and decorations.

This hotel is misleading and not as advertised. BE CAREFUL WHEN GIVING THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. They will charge your card without your permission without any details. ALSO, there accounting and the way they handle money is very bad. I booked through Orbitz and was not supposed to pay until after my stay. The hotel broke this policy and requested I pay in advance before me arrival. This is not right and because of the language barrier it made it challenging to communicate. Also the Masinga Lodge not well cared for and feels like you’re outside in the jungle with all the bugs and insects inside your living space. The garden in there is not well manicured and overgrown. The rooms smells like mold and musty. I do not recommend staying here. The staff are unprofessional and but try their best to help guests.

Sazagua was beyond my expectations. It was like a fairy tale . My room was beautiful and looked out over the property. The birds were breathtaking !!! Spa was great food was delicious no need to leave this place . !!!

This is a lovely property. The staff is very polite and super attentive. One night we sat around the firepit and the staff was there to make sure the fire kept going and we were able to order wine, etc. I was able to invite some family with no issues to hang out by the pool and chill out by the firepit. The only issue was the smell in the room, which was very humid.

Beautiful nature. Hundreds of birds flying around just in front of you. Silence. Good food. Nice staff. Even owner's pets (dogs and cats) were part of the feel-good atmosphere. Nothing I disliked - except it rained a lot!!! Nothing to be done about that.

Overall, it was excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and accommodating. The only feedback that I would have to provide would be to add a railing to the pool to make it safe for all the guests of all ages.

My wife and I had a great time. Just what we were looking for a private room within nature. You are in a private space but outside with flowers, trees, and a pond all around you during your stay . The room was excellent with a private jacuzzi and sauna. The service was great. A very nice additional service was to have breakfast delivered to our room free of charge.

Service at the hotel was excellent! People were very helpful and cordial, always willing to help. I didn’t like a couple of situations occurred at the hotel. Found a roach on the floor when I received the room, hotel offered some cocktails for welcoming and for using the spa and never were offered to us. We were using the Bonfire and they made us leave because it was booked for a private party without letting us know. A little expensive for what they offer. View and facility is excellent. Quiet and peaceful.

I recently stayed two nights in a King suite at the Hotel Sazaqua and it was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is very stylish, the gardens and pool area are beautiful and the room incredibly clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was included and included fresh fruit, a variety of made to order dishes including Colombian and American options. The service was exceptional especially from Alejandro who was my waiter at dinner (

The hotel seems to have been a nice country home that now serves as a hotel. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. All the staff was kind and nice.
