The location felt safe, furnishings were nice, and it was exactly as presented in the listing. However, in my opinion, there is absolutely nothing worse than renting a property that charges customers a cleaning fee only to arrive to find that it has NOT been properly cleaned. There was hair and debris all over the floor throughout the condo. The worse was in the upstairs bathroom, which had a pile of hair and other trash behind the door, and the bathtub drain was full of long black hair. The night that we arrived we were unable to find any washcloths for showers, though I did report it the next morning, and some were promptly delivered. Finally, the towels smelled sour, which is just disgusting. I realize that it is difficult to find good help these days, but shame on whoever “cleans” this property, and if there is someone that follows to inspect the “cleaning”, double shame on you! ##### Kim C. Stayed 2 nights in Oct 2024 ### 6/10 Okay #### Lana M. 25 Jun 2023 Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Communication #### Communication Issues My biggest reason for the 3 star review was the lack of sufficient communication from the host. On our last day, we received an email stating we could extend our stay another night for a small fee. I responded within 30 min that we would like to accept. The host then waited another 5 hours to tell us that this was no longer an option and we would have to check out the following morning (10 AM). So instead of getting to enjoy another day, we had to spend our last night scrambling to get everything packed and ready to be out by check out time. We then checked out and at 10:30 AM (30 min AFTER we had to be out of the unit) we received a text that we could have a later check out and that they would like to buy us lunch. This would have been great if it had been offered before we were already required to leave. We then were offered a discount on a future stay to which I asked details and how long the offer would be valid for and I never received any further response. Both bathrooms around the caulking could have used a deeper cleaning as there was mold growing. The bathtub had a crack in it so we were unable to use the tub for two days of our trip before it was patched which was super inconvenient with an infant to bathe. All this to say I would stay at Lost Key Resorts again, but I would book with a different hosting agency. ##### Lana M.
