The house has lots of outside space for its private use : there’s a convenient deck near the kitchen for sunny breakfasts and a panoramic garden terrace for meals at sunset.
You’ll find memorable countryside to explore on the doorstep. Nipozzano is nearby and encapsulates the beauty and history of Tuscany; there's the timeless elegance of the Nipozzano Villa, (country retreat of the noble Frescobaldi family) as well as the rugged Castello dating back to the year 1000. We can book you a visit to taste their award winning wines.
Pontassieve is the nearest town and offers banks, restaurants and supermarket. The train station has a regular commuter service to central Florence. You can park your car free of charge in Pontassieve and be in Florence in half an hour. It is very easy.
Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, Chianti Classico, Lucca and all of Tuscany is within reach for day trips too.

A car is necessary to stay here. Access is by a private farm road so there is no passing traffic (not reachable by bus or taxi.)
The road is loose stone. It is bumpy. Small rental cars (Panda, Fiat 500) pass without problem. Just ask if you want more information.
In the summer please use the air-conditioning judiciously and turn it off when not in the house.
