Amazing Villa

We had an incredible stay at Villa Monteloro. Everything was great and just like the pictures. The hostess was extremely kind and helped us with transportation. The house and the surrounding area was very beautiful. We especially enjoyed the pool area and the beautiful terraces. We were a group of friends, 11 adults and 1 baby, and we were very happy with our stay.

Beautiful Hillside Villa outside of Florence

Our family has stayed at this villa once before, but I believe this place is under new ownership. We enjpyed our stay even more than last time! Our host made check-in very easy and made the identification and deposit process a breeze. The onsite caretakers were WONDERFUL! They were responsive to our requests, regularly kept the pool area clean, and when they saw we were using travel sized speakers by the pool, they brought out a much larger one for us to enjoy. The villa (according to the caretaker) is approximately 800 years old, and with that comes an understanding that somethings in the house might not be perfect. We appreciated the charm of the site. It is not an easy property to access on foot, but our group rented a car and drove down to the train station on days we wanted to visit the city.Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Fantastisk ferie i smukt hus

Fantastisk ferie i smukt gammelt hus med den lækreste pool, som blev benyttet flittigt i det meget varme vejr med over 40 grader hver dag. Skønt område nær mindre by med indkøbsmulighed (Coop) og lokal restaurant midt i byen, hvor vi spiste lækker og billig toscanske mad flere gange. Der var også den lækreste isbutik på hovedgaden. Huset er gammelt og lidt slidt men skønt. Der er alle faciliteter. Vi manglede intet og havde en virkelig dejlig ferie.

Ideelt for familier eller venner

Vi har virkelig nydt vores ferie i dette fantastiske hus, men man skal kunne lide den autentiske Italienske landlige stil. Der er flere dejlige terrasser. Poolen er stor, og ligger godt i forhold til huset. Det er nemt at komme ned til toget, og man er i Firenze på under en halv time. Minusser: der er mange trapper, der kunne godt være et håndklæde mere pr. person, og der bor en servicemand på matriklen. Han var meget diskret, vi så ham sjældent.

Kaikki tarpeellinen, monta vessaa ja suihkua, keittiön uuni hidas. Ulkoalueet tosi hyvin hoidettu ja neljä eri pöytäryhmää pihalla. Kantomatkaa tosin kertyi tavaroille, samoin kuin neljästä kerroksesta porrastreeniä. Reippaille ulkoilijoille sopiva, ei perheille.

Huoneistossa ei ole perustarvikkeita, Ne siivotaan kaikki loppusiivouksessa pois?(vessapaperit, talouspaperit, sokeri/ suola, ast.pesuaine, suodatinpaperit). Esitteessä kerrotut etäisyydet eivät pidä paikkaansa (esim. kaupat ja keskusta). Tasoluokitus ja hinnoittelu ovat asuntoon nähden aivain liian korkeat.

Tolles Haus in toller Umgebung

sehr schönes Haus in insgesamt sehr gutem Zustand. Schöner, großer Pool. Professioneller Check-in und Check-out. Voll eingerichtete Küche. Zwei große Terrassen mit Sitzgelegenheiten für je 12 Personen. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Housekeeper. Auch alle Außenanlagen waren in Top-Zustand. 16 Kilometer nach Florenz. Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Kyllä perushintaan pitäisi aina kuulua noin 20 asteen sisälämpötila, talo oli jäätävän kylmä! Yleensä taloissa on ollut perustarvikkeita (sokeria, suolaa, kahvisuodattimia jne.), tässä ei ollut juuri mitään. Ruokailuastioita juuri ja juuri henkilömäärän verran.

Perfect spot

This old countryhouse was a splendid environment for the whole family. All of us enjoyed its history and fantastic overlooks. By two cars we drowe around the cities and paved countryroads through villages. Villa Monteloro is convinient accommodation for everyone. Four floors may cause problems for handicapped. Enjoyable and relaxing!

The Villa was beautiful with gorgeous views! The location was perfect...just 15 minutes or so to Florence but far enough away that it was quiet and not at all like being in a city. We had a party of 12 and it worked for us perfectly with plenty of space. The only suggestion I have is screens on the windows in the main kitchen. It gets pretty warm in there and the mosquitos were vicious this year. It would be really nice to be able to open the windows and allow the breeze to flow through. We hope to return someday soon!
