It is a 2 bedroom, 1 ensuite, 1 bathroom apartment with open plan kitchen and living area, it also benefits from 2 allocated parking spaces. It sit's on 1 acre of undisturbed land with many paths which can lead you away into the country side for many hours. Even with its rural setting you are only a quick 15 minute walk into the town centre. Venlaw Castle is a grade B listed building, packed full of original period features. The apartment can be found on the 1st floor and can be accessed via the communal stair well. The main living area is an open planned living, kitchen and dining area with 3 large original sash and case windows overlooking the tree tops of Peebles. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need during your stay including a Nespresso coffee machine. It has 2 spacious bedrooms, with king size beds and plenty of storage and hanging space for all your belongings. 1 bedroom benefits from an ensuite with shower, and bedroom 2 has spectacular views of the fields, hills and valley which can be enjoyed from the room. The apartment is absolutely beautiful. Clean, tidy, very comfortable, chic, great views, great location. The beds were huge and so comfy, the kitchen is well fitted out with everything you could need. The views from the apartment are lovely, and there are lots of woodland walks on the doorstep. It is a fairly easy walk into the town from the property. A nice touch with dog bowls etc in a wee pet drawer. TVs in every room with a great choice between Netflix, Prime, iPlayer etc and a DVD player. Plus another drawer full of DVDs. Bathrooms very clean with lovely products to use and big fluffy towels. Only thing I would have appreciated was a wee pint of milk in the fridge. With such a late check in of 3pm had hoped for a cup of tea on arrival but no milk. most serviced accommodation provides. welcome basket with a wee biscuit etc and some milk in the fridge.
