Nice place!
We had a wonderful time at the beach thanks to the great accommodations! Accurate listing and was nice not to have to bring sheets and towels. Also had toilet paper, paper towels and even coffee filters available. Thanks! The owner was very communicative and was super helpful resolving the minor gate pass dating issue. Beautiful view and quiet area! Beach was awesome! Thanks again!

Spring Beach Trip
My daughter was here from Juneau Alaska and we wanted to spend a few days at the beach. The suite at Bridgewater was perfect for us to chill and enjoy some sun.

Quick trip
We were only able to stay one of three nights due to illness but would definitely return. The unit was very clean. The facility was beautiful and the beach was great. The beds were so comfortable that we had a much needed good nights sleep. The host was easy to communicate with. We would recommend this place for sure.

A beautiful Unit
This is a lovely, newly remodeled and well equipped property. Wonderful waterfront views. We were there in February and lucked out with the weather. Renters might want to check directly with the resort about indoor pool closures. That was a surprise to us but certainly not within the owner’s control. Communication with him was great!

Great beach /ocean view
Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Bridgewater in Lichtfield by the Sea. Gorgeous views. Unit needs minor fixes but it didn’t spoil our visit. Beach is A plus. Rented chairs and umbrella easily online and they were set up and waiting for us by the time we arrived at the beach. Great restaurants around too. Shout out to Dead dog Saloon. Great food (high end bar food) and fantastic music! Great area to walk and relax.

Great view, great condo
We had a lovely stay in this condo. Ed was responsive and informative as to how to check in. We had no issues whatsoever. Gorgeous condo. We have stayed in Bridgewater frequently, renting from the resort directly with mixed results. We wont be doing that again---we will only be staying in Ed's condo.

End of Summer Vacation
The unit we stayed at was perfect! Nicely updated and freshly painted. It had a great view, located right on the ocean and the entire building and pool had just been entirely renovated this year. We plan to rebook our vacation there next year.

We love LBTS already! The Bridgewater condo was just the right size for my husband and me for a few days! It was really cute and cozy, with the best view of the lazy River pool and the beach! The weather was hot- but that is August in SC! Thanks to our host!🌴☀️🤗

Litchfield by the Sea
We love Litchfield Beach and our stays in Litchfield by the Sea. We’ve gone for years. This is the nicest Bridgewater property we’ve ever stayed in. The updates have made all the difference. There are two bathroom areas (with a shared shower), and a widened kitchen area, all new appliances and updated finishes. Ed communicated by text and was helpful, clear, and responsive. We can’t wait to go back!!

We had a great stay! The oceanfront view can’t be beat, the condo (and the Bridgewater property) was very clean and the owner was communicative. We were offered fresh towels every day and housekeeping even offered to take garbage. Would definitely stay again.

We had a good experience. But we were surprised that the indoor pool would be closed, the hot tub didn’t always work, and the construction, building updates had started and the noise was very loud when we were there in our room during the days between activities.

Welcome get away
The condo was beautiful & very clean, enjoyed our get away so much. If I could change anything it’d be tall chairs for the balcony so you could get a better look at the view!!

Wonderful stay!
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this unit. We were already sold on Litchfield By the Sea and Bridgewater from a precious stay, but Ed’s unit raised the bar! The place was immaculate, and the well- equipped kitchen set us up for easy meal prep. The decor and furnishings were stunning and made for a comfortable stay. Delivery of clean towels and removal of trash daily was an unexpected perk! Will definitely book again in the future!

Beautifully decorated, great beds and view to die for!! Description does say it sleeps 6. Could not figure out how it could since the sofa was not a pullout. Was perfect for us 3! A little confusion at checkin but host was on it!! Great time!

All four of us loved our time spent in this well-appointed condo with many recent renovations. The beds were comfortable, the two bathrooms came in handy, and everything was very pleasant, hospitable, and to our liking.

Lovely Condo
We had a great time staying in Ed's condo by the beach. Ed was an excellent host and a great communicator. He made sure that everything was in tip top shape. The condo had a beautiful view of the ocean and an awesome pool. The condo was right on the beach, so it was very easy to access. Everything in the condo was newly renovated and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!

If you like a cheap motel…..
The condo was outdated and dirty. The counter had burns on it. The pots and pans were dirty and the kitchen was not well equipped at all! The slipcovers on the sofa were filthy. There was a clothes-hanger left on the lamp in the living room and the AC barely worked. The plunger left in the bathroom in a grocery bag was so ( not) charming. First time using VRBO will be our last! No resolution from VRBO or the property owner 5 months later. Cheap motel at best!

The view was great as expected. But the furnishings were outdated. The beds sagged on the sides so much you couldn't sit on them. The door to the 1st bathroom was broken. I had to duct tape it to keep it from hanging.. It would have been nicer to have the bedroom facing the ocean instead of the parking lot.

Hi Phillip - I went through all our reservations and you have not stayed at this unit. Additionally, in the last year that we have owned the unit, there have never been any duct tape on any part of the unit. I confirmed that with maintenance and house keeping.

This property, while a bit older, functions well and is maintained. The mattresses on the queen beds are very comfortable, and my husband and I appreciated the high quality linens on the beds as well as some of the comforting touches in terms of furnishings and a tray in the bedroom for watches, jewelry, etc. We look forward to returning!
