"Josh was a pleasure to work with. The house is beautiful and very well situated to ATV trails for riding. Would recommend and look forward to staying again. "
"Bedding and carpeting are old and need updating, and room smells musty, but hotel is priced fairly in recognition of this. Bathroom was renovated and room was very clean. Staff at desk helpful with late night check in. Not much for breakfast - packaged cereal and muffins and toast. Coffee was good. Convenient if star gazing at Cherry Springs - about 20 minutes from the astronomy viewing field. "

"Our stay was amazing! The cabin was isolated and so quiet. It was very clean and every amenity was thought of. The owners were so easy to communicate with and very helpful when I asked questions about local attractions. We would live to come back again!"
"Communication with the host was super quick and easy. The cabin is perfectly located along what seems to be the main route to most major attractions. Everything inside was clean, well-stocked, and clearly prepared with care and thought. One thing to note: the walkway from the driveway to the cabin is pretty uneven and can be slippery when it rains. It was manageable for me and my daughter, but more challenging for my mom, who uses a cane. To be fair, the listing does mention that it’s not wheelchair accessible, which usually means uneven ground—we just underestimated it from the photos. She made it up and down just fine, just slowly. And truly, that was our only issue, which feels like a fair trade-off when you’re staying in a cabin on a literal mountain. What I adored most about the property is how quickly we felt at home. You know how some places are so sterile you’re afraid to touch anything, or so grimy you don’t want to? This struck the perfect balance- clean, but comfortably lived-in. One small thing really stuck with me: height marks on the back door trim, likely from the original owners. It made the place feel personal and loved. I hope they never sand it away.In short: if you’re questioning it, just book it. You won’t regret it. "
