"We had an excellent stay and we absolutely plan to book here again! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The check-in process was simple, the host was responsive and friendly, and everything we needed was provided. The location was perfect, just 20 minutes from cherry springs park. Overall, it was a relaxing and hassle-free experience. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay!"
Bear Trail Lodge - Potter County Vacation Home

"My family had a great 5 nights at Bear Trail Lodge. Check in was very easy, it was clean, beautiful inside and out. The scenery was incredible, my kids drive down to Prouty Park which was about a 5 minute drive to do some hiking. The pond on the property has little sunny’s which were biting nonstop. We weren’t sure where to go for fishing otherwise. The closest convenience store was about 1/2 hour away, so make sure you bring everything you need. All the necessities were provided and it was nice having a washer and dryer. I 100% would recommend BTL to everyone and hopefully we’ll be back!"

"This review is going to be more practical since not all info is given. The no air conditioning was very uncomfortable as it was 90 degrees both days we were there mid-July. (no relief until about 3 am, basement w/ pool table was cooler) We had all age ranges from 13 to 65 and I (65) don't have hot flashes. We did have a clear night for the dark sky park and that was everything. There is a microwave and plenty of cooking supplies. the photo i included was of an unexpected cupboard full of spices, sugar, flour and such. The mountain vista and deck are stunning. we couldn't figure out how to play dvd's nor the jukebox and I couldn't connect to netfix but finally got amazon prime on the basement tv. There is a REALLY cool 4 story antique store in Galeton but again, no AC and I couldn't stay in there for long. If you're going for Cherry Springs dark sky, parking was easy and not full, the field was spacious and not full. (we were there mid week) it was cool and windy and no bugs and we did need our long sleeve shirts. there was a food truck there with a very nice and helpful lady. I brought a white sheet to lay on so we could see stuff on it. while you can't see the people in the field you can see the tree line so its not pitch black (due to the stars). The milky way was just a dim long cloud."

"The property was beautiful, as advertised. The large pond was well stocked for some light fishing. Star gazing right from the property was possible although a nearly full moon washed out the dark sky. Cherry springs state park was a short 12 minute drive away, but pets are not allowed. The property was well stocked with amenities. Bring a full size coffee maker if you are a coffee drinker. If you want to experience the sounds of silence and have a relaxing day in a hammock, this place is for you. We only had three adults and a small dog, but the A-frame could easily accommodate 6. Excellent hosts. We will definitely consider visiting again."

"What a wonderful place! We even heard an elk call from the hill! Very peaceful and gorgeous surrounding. The brook adds to the calm. Chris was easily reachable and so helpful in many ways and also offered suggestions of places to go and things to do. Hot tub was a plus! Beds are comfy too! Would highly recommend."
