Calling this an English speaking hotel is a stretch. The most notable thing was the condition of the facility. The rooms have not been updated since about 1980\. This was the biggest issue. The room was clean but very old. The bathroom was in the same condition. The selection of TV was very limited and the picture was not clear, like it was from an over the air antenna. The AC controls were an old pendant that sat on the night stand. They had some signs in the lobby asking for patience while they remodel. So, I have to assume they know their facility needs remodeling, but I didn't see active construction anywhere. Overall, this hotel was likely acceptable for locals, but is not up to Western hotel standards from a facility point of view. The view from our room was a delight overlooking the sea towards Koh Larn. The considerable attractive gardens were spacious and well kept. The external building and some internal carpets are showing their age and are in need of an upgrade. One of our main attractions to the hotel is the small but challenging 9 hole park 3 golf course. .
