Location is good if you spend the night near the main pubs as it walking distance. Price is a little high considering the room, amenities and bedlinen is quite basic, similar to a 3-star hotel. We do get a bit irritated when the staff kept calling to chase us out exactly at 12 noon, even though the whole hotel is empty. The receptionist and the manager were also very unfriendly and did not say hello back when I greeted them because they were to busy. You can easily get a room for the night for that price ie the Boutique and Bravo City Hotel across the road with a better service, breakfasts and over a hundred rooms which cost around 1000 baht (£22) per night. When my friend arrived he was charged 750 baht. It would seem the Asana hotel just makes up the price to suit their moods.
