OUR RECENTLY RENOVATED AND TILED APARTMENT WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH ALL THE SECURITY IN TERMS OF HYGIENE DURING YOUR STAY.
We offer you our Parisian apartment, a beautiful 110 m² duplex that is very bright, fully tiled, and cleaned. It features two bedrooms and two private bathrooms with an unobstructed view of Paris, located near the Bois de Vincennes, where your children will surely enjoy the recently renovated zoo. A small terrace allows you to have your coffee from the master bedroom while admiring the distant view of the Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped for your stay. The apartment was completely renovated in 2022. It is welcoming, bright, healthy, and offers an unobstructed view thanks to its large bay windows.
2 Bedrooms:
The pink and gold bedroom for the parents, with a small terrace (160 cm bed) The blue bedroom for an adult or one or two children (140 cm bed)… Both rooms have their own private bathrooms. To make your arrival and installation serene, we will have tea, coffee, and linens provided for you.
The 46 bus line at the foot of the building will take you either to Vincennes, its castle, the woods, the zoo, and the Parc Floral, or directly to the heart of Paris via the 11th arrondissement, with a direct connection to Gare du Nord.
Gare de Lyon and Gare d'Austerlitz are nearby and easily accessible, as well as Gare Montparnasse (via metro lines 6 and 8), with the Félix Eboué - Daumesnil station being very close.
The Rothschild Hospital is also nearby, as well as St. Antoine Hospital.
It is also relatively easy to reach Orly Airport.
You can book a secure parking spot before your arrival through the ONEPARK website. Many parking spaces are available nearby.
Finally, all local shops are at the foot of the building, including a convenience store and many other merchants, as well as the market on Avenue Daumesnil, which operates every other day.
You are very close to Place Félix Eboué (DAUMESNIL) and near NATION, meaning the center of Paris and all the tourist sites are within easy reach.
The 12th arrondissement is a lively, colorful, and joyful district, and you will be able to discover:
The ALIGRE district with its must-visit large market (Aligre street and square, open Tuesday to Friday from 7 am to 1:30 pm and weekends until 2:30 pm).
Not far from Gare de Lyon, the photogenic Rue Crémieux, known for its vivid-colored buildings.
And of course, the Viaduc des ARTS.
The Coulée Verte, or Promenade Plantée, which runs at the foot of the building, is the former railway line that ran through the eastern part of Paris to the countryside. Now fully pedestrianized, it offers a green environment in the heart of the city with a 5 km long route leading to the Château de Vincennes, where you can continue your walk through the woods if you wish.
Sometimes in the air, sometimes underground. This unique walk, stretching from Bastille to the Bois de Vincennes, takes you from viaduct to footbridge, from tunnel to trench, through the eastern part of Paris. Created in 1988 by Philippe Mathieux and Jacques Vergely, it was built on the site of the former railway line that connected Bastille Square to Varenne-Saint-Hilaire (94) since 1859 and has only recently been fully pedestrianized.
The ACCOR ARENA venue is also very close to the apartment, and for those who have booked tickets, it is only a 10-minute walk to attend the Paris 2024 Olympics events or to enjoy the many shows and concerts presented there.

Late feedback but our stay was great. Location is great and the cafe accross the street was fantastic. Check in was odd and the property manager (not host) was a no show. But we waited for another person to get us past the gate and we were able to access the lockbox from there. Other than that it was an incredible apartment and would go back.
We are a Canadian couple who stayed in this apartment in September 2023. We enjoyed our stay and would rent the place again. We enjoyed the fact that we were not in a super touristy area - yet, we had easy access to the center of Paris and its attractions. As noted by others, the apartment is in a building rented mostly by students, but this was not a problem at all : they were helpful, polite and the apartment was very quiet. Check in was ok but make sure someone meets you there. Otherwise, you will have to make your way to the 7th floor (students come in and out) and wait for instructions on how to get in. Not a huge problem - just needs to be taken into consideration.
We had a five night stay in this condo. We enjoyed the location because it was close to the Metro station (which we used in abundance).
Our only negative experience was our check in process. My phone was having difficulty connecting with the internet and that made it difficult to connect with the manager of the property. Our train in to Paris was canceled and we had to reroute our travel. That incident put us a couple of hours later than we expected for arrival. When we arrived, it was difficult to connect because of my phone issues. If there was a batter way to communicate, then we would have given all five stars across the board.
We loved the washer/dryer combo, full kitchen, and two full baths
It was nice to stay out of the touristy part of Paris, but close to Metro stations so we can get around to the touristy parts.
It was a great stay- once we got checked it.
The check-in didn't go really well. We didn't realize it was student housing for college students. I wish more pictures/directions were provided for check-in. Like the front of the building and the door. We got a picture of where the lock box was, but that was on the 7th floor. We waited about 45 minutes and were about to start looking for another place to stay, when the woman showed up to check us in.
Once we were settled in the place was great. You do need to manually lock the door with the key inside the apartment.
The hot water wasn't working, which was a building issue, but a week without hot water was tough.
This is a very unique apartment, well-located, but not in a tourist district. The metro is steps away. The floor to ceiling windows make this a cheery, light-filled space.
We had a 10 night stay and everything about the apartment was as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the property, especially the elevator and the A/C as it was very warm there in July.
The apartment was great! Conveniently located by lines 6 and 8 at the Daumensil metro stop, close to the RER at Nation. Grocery store right across the street. Great neighborhood with awesome dining choices as well. We loved the convenience and atmosphere of the apartment. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Nice located apartment with unique architecture. Fully equipped. Could be cleaner and needs partly refurbishment.
Location is central to getting around Paris. There’s a grocery across the street and restaurants which are very convenient. Right at the bus top, to access local zoo and historical sites within minutes. There is one train station you can get to within minutes. Most stations are 13 minutes away walking, like the RER. The train takes you to the downtown area where the museums are located. The Eiffel Tower can be seen from the museums which is about 15 minutes away on foot from the museums. Downside of rental there is no actual pool or hot tub on premises. No functioning A/C.
We were looking for a place for 2 couples to stay together where we each had our own space. There are 2 bedrooms each with a bathroom for a comfortable stay. The living space upstairs features huge windows with lots of light. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking although we enjoyed the local restaurants. There is a metro stop down the street for access to the sights. We liked that it was off the usual tourist spots so we felt like locals. Also a convenient grocery across the street. Check in was a little stressful because the apartment is located inside a student building which is locked so you need to arrange to be let in the building. After a couple messages we got inside and all was fine after that.
Spacious 2-story apartment with beautiful, wrap-around, floor-to-ceiling windows in a residential neighborhood, accessible to the popular tourist districts by Metro or bus (both are located very close by). The apartment is located on the 7th floor of a building that otherwise appears to be a student residence. Apartment has very effective central air conditioning, a combined Bosch clothing washing machine/dryer, very fast Wifi (500 MB/sec download speeds), a Bosch dishwasher and unlimited hot water in the 2 showers - amenities that can be difficult to find in Paris. We had difficulties with the Vrbo app/website during our stay, and the owner was very flexible, extremely accommodating and easy to work with. The local property manager (not the owner) was difficult to reach and communicate with for minor, day-to-day issues. We would be happy to stay here again, in the future, if we wanted a rental away from the bustle of the common tourist areas.
A couple of things about this property:
1 - It is exactly as advertised and the photos are accurate.
2 - It is not in a tourist area. The local restaurant menus are all in French. Make sure you have Google translate if you can't read French.
3 - Check in was a little weird. This property is in a student union building and the lockbox is outside the property on the 7th floor. You need to get someone to let you in the main door so you can get to the lockbox. Once we got to the lockbox everything was smooth.
4 - There are other restaurants down the back street. You need to go down the stairs in front of the building to get to that street. I would recommend the Godfather as a good place to eat.
5 - The Metro is a block away, Daumesnil stop on the number 6 and 8 lines. I couldn't get the ticket machine to give me a ticket for the right price. Better off going to the clerk for a ticket.
6 - Everyone we ran into was very nice and willing to help out.

The owner needs a new property manager
I notified the owner that we’d be arriving around Noon and she responded that it wouldn't be a problem. The manager would be on site to meet us, hand over the key, and explain appliances, etc.
Nobody was there, but we were directed to a lockbox which was not easily accessible and took some time to open. Once we retrieved the key we inserted it and turned it in the door. There was an audible click, but the door wouldn’t budge despite multiple attempts. We’d now been there for at least an hour. I contacted the manager and was told somebody was on the way. We waited another half hour and nobody came. I was told he was stuck on a train. Another half hour passed and I was told that someone else would be coming by bus because the train was “really stuck”.
When I questioned how long this was all taking I was told we weren’t supposed to be there as early as we arrived and they should have been given at least 48 hours notice - they had been given two weeks notice. Meanwhile we were left standing in the cold, tired and hungry.
In all we waited nearly three hours for someone to show up. Turns out this was a double lock and once the first lock clicked open you needed to keep turning the key to open the second lock which was a deadbolt. The manager never explained this to us.
The person who finally got us in the apartment spoke very little English so she could not respond to how the heat or appliances worked. And it was freezing in there! Turns out the door to the balcony was open.

Confortable mais accueil succinct
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet appartement atypique mais confortable et très bien situé. La procédure d'accueil très impersonnelle (uniquement message WhatsApp et boîte à clé) mériterait d'être améliorée pour faciliter la prise en main du lieu, d'autant qu'en dehors du micro ondes nous n'avons trouvé aucun mode d'emploi des différents équipements.

grand appartement insolite et calme
C'est un duplex spacieux et bien aménagé. Dans la cuisine, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. La résidence est très calme et proche de tous les commerces et du métro et des bus. Le réseau WIFI fonctionne très bien.
La communication avec la propriétaire était très facile; avant notre arrivée, elle nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires et a répondu à nos questions pendant le séjour. Par contre, le contact avec la gestionnaire locale était insuffisant : il n'y avait personne pour nous accueillir, au téléphone on est toujours tombé sur un répondeur.

Overall, great location, safe and great place. Convenient to markets, stores, cafes and metro. Would absolutely stay there again. Spacious, comfortable, very quiet, great views. Kitchen is very well equipped. Living room is comfortable. Cute small balcony. Bathrooms are very small, and tight and could use a deep cleaning (toilet bowls, baseboards, corners, mirrors etc). Sunny with large blinds. Communication with owner was easier than property manager! Met property manager face to face for check in. Check out Instructions were missing until last evening 11pm when i advised the owner I would put key under the mat. Cleaners were supposed to meet me at 9.30am for check out day but I never saw them! Awkward booklet instructions. Needs updating (better description as to where the trash/recycling goes, mailbox location for key drop off). Highly recommend. Would love to stay there again !
Very much liked the property. 2 bedrooms so our daughter had her own room which was nice. We didn't, but one could cook there if desired. Very clean. Toward Eastern end of city, but not a big deal if one uses the wonderful Parisian metro system. And it is near Gare de Lyon and Gare d'Austerlitz which worked well for us. Beds comfortable. Nice and quiet. On 7th floor, but elevator made that a moot point. Not sure how well the communication would have gone if one didn't have some fluency in French so would be sure to check on that if you decide to book this place. Personally, I would do it again in a heart beat.
We had a very positive experience durinh our stay in Paris at this apartment. Dominique and Alaine were very accommodating and arranged for their son to meet us so we could check in early. Unfortunately, we were delayed a day so we ended up checking in later. The location is good though it is a little bit of a distance from the center of Paris. There was a transit strike during our stay so this limited our ability to get around some but we managed. The apartment itself was comfortable and spacious. The only drawback I would say is that the building’s heat was inadequate for the space. There were supplemental heaters which kept our bedrooms comfortable but the common areas could get a bit chilly. Also, there is no TV. That wasn’t a big deal for us, but for some people it might be an issue. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would reccomend it to others.
