The photos of this rental are misleading and make the space appear much larger and brighter than it actually is. In reality, the apartment is very small, cramped, and feels quite claustrophobic compared to the listing.The check-in process was frustrating. We were provided with a building entry code and a lockbox code, but the lockbox only accepted four digits while the code provided contained six. None of the combinations worked, leaving us unable to access the key. We had to contact Rent-A-Flat for assistance, but finding a phone number was difficult. Fortunately, another group of renters entering the building had experienced the same issue and helped us reach support.Ventilation is also a problem. The apartment has only one window facing the courtyard trash area, which attracts insects and makes it impractical to leave open. The space becomes stuffy, and the only other source of fresh air is through dirty roof windows with motorized vents. There was only one fan for two bedrooms. Management agreed to deliver a second fan after multiple requests, but it never arrived.There are a few positives. The location is convenient, with easy access to the Pasteur Metro, and the shower is excellent. However, the kitchen is poorly equipped and lacks many basic items needed to prepare meals.Overall, while the location is good, the misleading photos, difficult check-in, poor ventilation, and inadequate kitchen made this rental disappointing.
