"We were on adventure through the South and had to stop for over night close to Naples. This is 4* hotel. The building is undergoing refurburishment and scaffolding is all over the building.
We arrived around 10pm and we were greeted coldly-could be the language barrier? Then the shock that very loud music being broadcasted on all floors which wasn't switched off until we called the receptionist to do so.

Hotel is on a very busy road in an industrial area.1hr walk to the town and train station. Buses are infrequent and taxis are very expensive.

"Thai property looks from outside like normal old style building. But inside is like NASA. Really good and newly renovated it, very fashionable and great bathroom with Jacuzzi. "A Diamond in the rough. This area of Naples is a bit shoddy. The hotel property however is extremely well run, clean and safe. The staff are awesome and treated us like royalty. 5 star service. The secure parking area was needed for peace of mind and the underground lot gave extra piece of mind. The rooms though dated are well maintained and clean, and large by Italian standards. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with the highly trained restaurant waiters providing an extremely professional level of service. Do try the ristorante. It will not disappoint. We will return in future. "
