"Wonderful experience. Complimentary welcome drink of your choice. Staff helpful with making reservations for restaurants and finding the right UBER destination locations for sugar loaf hill and Christ the redeemer. Outside staff opens doors for our UBER departing and arriving. The rooms are clean and cool. The breakfast is truly exceptional with a wide variety of regular breakfast items, fruits and juices. There is a made to order omelette station with a chef. Overall, excellent experience. Highly recommended!! "

"I had an absolutely incredible stay at the Sheraton Rio de Janeiro! From the moment I arrived, every single employee went above and beyond to make me feel genuinely welcomed. The attention to detail was outstanding — from the perfectly prepared room to the thoughtful service at every touchpoint, you can truly feel that guest experience is their top priority. One of the things that really sets this hotel apart is that it’s the only hotel in Rio with direct access to a private beach. Not only was it beautiful and exclusive, but it also made me feel completely safe and relaxed throughout my stay. Having that peace of mind while enjoying the ocean was priceless. Another huge plus was the heated pool. Not every place in Rio offers this, and it made all the difference, especially on cooler days when I still wanted to swim and unwind comfortably. What really made a difference for me was the kindness and flexibility the team showed by allowing me a late check-out. It gave me the chance to fully enjoy my last day in Rio without feeling rushed, and I’m so grateful for that extra level of care. "I am basing this review on the price paid. We came during the week in wintertime. Breakfast alone justified the stay. 24 hour corner store just a few steps away. Full grocery store a few more steps away. & then of course the beach a few more steps away. Note:water in fridge is not complementary. I thought they were because there were just four small bottles of a no nane brand. "
