"Good neighborhood. The closest store is 5 minutes/ $4 away by taxi. The house is spacious which was important for our group of 8. Each room has its own bathroom. Pool is a plus. However, it's not easy to cook there. A simple thing like matches would be great to have (a cigarette lighter was provided instead which is not safe). The hot water in the showers was very sporadic. The maintenance guy comes very quickly if help is needed (so good service)."

"Amazing location and views from the roof! House was very comfortable. The main issue we had was giving an accurate location to our taxi driver at the airport because there is no house number, only a street address. We started using the Lula Casco Restaurant address for Uber etc to decrease the confusion."

"This was a great break from the rush of the City. Mary was there to meet us from the Ferry with the buggy. We had to make a couple trips for all our stuff and us. Small shops in town have the basics, so pack any special items/beverages you want to have. View is incredible and house is clean. Mary speaks primarily Spanish so a translating app is helpful. AC in bedrooms only but breeze from ocean helps to cool things. Town is walkable and beach is close. Very relaxing!"

"Great views and a relaxing time was had at this comfortable sea side duplex. We were the only renters so we had the whole yard and pool to ourselves. Bob was an excellent resident owner host and the support staff of Maria and Ilariao were perfect and there when we needed help. Getting to Michi was an adventure especially at night and at the end of Mardi Gras...the road and the citizens were a challenge. After we got the lay of the land driving the area and meeting the residents of the Portobelo...

"We absolutely loved our stay in Gamboa! There were so many outdoor activities in the area and it was close to Panama City. The house was large with plenty of space for us to spread out or be together. The lower patio was a wonderful place to spend an afternoon in the hammock reading or watching the rain fall. Jorge and Omar were very responsive and provided us with whatever we asked for. Thank you Jorge!"

"My daughter and I stayed for a week. The place was easy to find and Uber drivers had no difficulty finding it. The security guard was very nice and helpful. It was a good idea to get separate rooms becuz two queen beds in a hotel room would not have provided privacy and alone time. The kitchen was well-stocked. The neighborhood had a variety as far as the choices of cuisine. The EXTRA store was near by, too. I will return when I am back in Panama."

"We loved our two weeks at Playa Bonita. Everyone was very helpful and the apartment was very nice. It was very well located and easy for us to explore the surrounding areas. Grocery shopping at the local Riba Smith supermarket was easy. All around a great place to use as a base for exploring or to just lay back and relax."

The location is far from all the noises while having easy access to all destinations. The restaurants located in just a mile away are top rated as well. The owner is very friendly and flexible as well. Strongly recommended!"
