Booked this hotel over the July 4th week because of the raving reviews of cleanliness and the fact that I wanted to enjoy their attractive outdoor pool during my 6 days stay. I’ll start by giving praise to the housekeeping for their politeness & consideration. Unfortunately, the carpet in the room was soiled with grime leaving my white socks filthy within minutes. It was brought to the manager’s attention. His response was “it’s a public place.” Another disappointment was that the gleamingly clean pool was closed the entire 6 days I was there. Manager informed me that booking through a third party source, not directly with Sleep Inn, would not give me info on pool closures. Okay then. Complimentary breakfast was very good.
