"Older Hotel must have been beautiful when first built, but it is showing its age. The Staff were very welcoming, friendly and responsive to our requests. We did enjoy our stay. Very relaxing! Beautiful view of the lagoon from the rooftop and our balcony. "

"The place is very clean and has a very friendly staff. The pool is a bit small, but it is kept clean, and that is very good. The place is quiet and the sheets are comfortable. I like that the mall is right across."
"10/10! Worth every penny. My husband and I stayed for 7 nights and were able to truly unplug and unwind here. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The property is clean and gorgeous. The amenities like complimentary breakfast (which was a very generous portion and delicious), exercise classes (mat Pilates, barre and yoga), water coloring class and paddle boards for guests made our experience top tier. The outdoor shower felt super clean and I couldn’t wait to use it everyday. The only down side is the property is not near any restaurants and is not walkable. We had to take a taxi to the downtown area every day and it added up, about $30 round trip each time we left. The breakfast and lunch menu were delicious. The dinner for some reason was not, which is why we’d leave every night. Also prices are quite steep compared to restaurants in downtown that taste better. However, we’d definitely come back again and will miss the property and staff until then. "
"I love the fact that they have a restaurant and offer room service too. I have been coming here for 25 years, and at one time it was the most luxurious hotel in Chetumal Mexico. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and bilingual (Spanish & English) and it's very reasonably priced, especially for families. The center courtyard area has a pool, which has lingers around it, so the kids can play in safety. "
