"Advertisement says A.C. What it doesn't say is it only works for 5 percent of the time. Advertised as a resort and spa. Not even close. This place is two floors of an apartment building that is probably being rented out to the hotel company. Room was way to hot to sleep well."

Nice hotel, but not much privacy
"This was a really nice hotel in a great, convenient area. Our only complaint was the way the hotel staff was constantly surveilling us on their myriads of cameras. We felt like we were being followed everywhere and were even wondering if there were cameras in the rooms. They told us when when of ..."
"Gracious and helpful host in Heyri, just when I was wondering how I would get on without Korean language and without English map. Great modern architecture house full of colour, magnificent slabs of wood in furnishings and the quirks and collections of interesting people. An-soo made me very welcome, ..."

Nice hotel, but not much privacy
"This was a really nice hotel in a great, convenient area. Our only complaint was the way the hotel staff was constantly surveilling us on their myriads of cameras. We felt like we were being followed everywhere and were even wondering if there were cameras in the rooms. They told us when when of our teens were still in their rooms, told us we left a door open as we were leaving… among other things. I felt like our privacy was invaded."
"First of all, the people we encountered were friendly. Even my Korean wife, who prefers to avoid speaking to hotel managers because they are often rude to women, had a pleasant experience.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, but aging. Nothing too bad, but it just seemed that while there was a clear style that was impressive, if you looked long enough, you could see that the maintenance was neglected.
There were two negatives. First, the in-room jacuzzi tub was broken. Only a couple of jets worked. I booked this hotel specifically because of the jacuzzi tub and wanting to get a little therapy while recovering from an injury. Couldn't happen how I hoped.
The second has to do with the maintenance. It rained heavily all day and night and, apparently, the veranda drain was clogged because we woke up in the morning to a flooded room. Our backpacks with our clean clothes had been left on the floor so they were wet. The original solution from the staff was for us to take all of our things to the top floor restaurant, but eventually agreed to open another room for us across the hall for us and have the cleaning staff wash and dry our wet clothing. BONUS: The jacuzzi worked in the new room!
With all of this we were barely able to get our clothing back and out of the hotel by checkout time. It would have been nice of them to offer more time or something for the inconvenience, but having stayed in several hotels in Korea, we were just happy they didn't blame us for the rain."
