Lake Powell Resort is a beautiful resort. I would suggest a view room. The outdoor bench seating is a wonderful place to enjoy the scenery. We liked the convince of the dining and coffee area. Friendly staff! Definitely on our list to come back.

Pros - excellent pool, and stunning views. Cons - 1) staff at check-in did not know how to navigate their checkin system, it took 20 minutes to check in (once at front of the line). 2)seats in balcony were ripped and unsafe. We reported the problem at 4:30pm and it took until the next day to replace them. This meant we could not enjoy our balcony view the first night.

The view was amazing. The WiFi didn’t work, the room and hall smelled bad, they did not restock rooms with toilet paper, soap or towels. They also did not tell you that you would be required to pay a park entrance fee.

This place needs work. We checked in and the staff was grumpy and slow. They put us in a room with 2 beds when we reserved a room with a king bed. The room was so run down and filthy, I’ve never seen anything like it in my time traveling. We requested a new room with the proper accommodations. Caley was very helpful and got us in a new room with a king sized bed. It was in much better condition, but still very run down and not up to par for a place that calls themselves a resort. More like a motel with a nice pool. The food was not good and the drinks were just ok. Staff at the coffee shop was snappy and rude. Staff at the restaurant and bar were nice but had no sense of urgency. Overall I'm very disappointed in our experience here. Will not be back.

This hotel is located in the Glenn Canyon national park and you have to pay to access it (I think it's $35/week). the facilities are old and it shows. Rust on the bathroom door, the vanity has seen better days. Our "view" room had a view of the back of the pool. There was a fridge in the room but no table to eat at, so we had "picnics" on a towel on the floor. There is coffee for purchase in the main building, also cereal cups and pastries but they run out of yogurt early in the AM. You can have a sit down breakfast for $20. The pool and hot tabs were nice. It's 10 min-15 from other restaurants, so a lot of people choose to eat here, and it's gets busy at dinner time, and the wait can be more than 30 min. In retrospect, I wish I went to a different hotel closer to downtown Page.

Beautiful location next to the lake Shabby and rundown with varnish peeling off the furniture Only decaf coffee—dunno about you, but caffeine is pretty important to me in the morning. But we were told we could purchase coffee at the coffee shop after 7 am The safe in the room was broken and unusable Front desk staff were inattentive. Carried on with their personal conversation for 5 min (truly not exaggerating) while we waited

Amazing view. Food and service at restaurant great. Haley server was excellent. Room very average. Couldnt even get a glass to have a drink in the room. Only a paper coffee cup. Hidden fees of $30 for entrance to park should be free for guests since we didnt go anywhere but hotel. Lady during the morning shift grumpy and completely not helpful at all.

Firstly this property is located within a national park, something they failed to tell us, so you have to pay for a pass to enter each day. This property was clean and main hotel area was nice but the rooms and outbuildings were all dated. Definitely needs a facelift. No elevators to second floor at any of the buildings with second floor rooms. We had a lot of bags so it was a lot to carry to our room. Our room was just ok. Appeared clean and straight forward when we first checked in but it was 8p and we’d been driving all day from Vegas. In the morning we noticed that the entry door had to be lifted a large amount in order to close. Also one of the drawer faces completely fell off when barely touched and you could see they’d just kept shoving it on without repairing and finally when we did our room sweep to checkout we found an empty beer box and half drank coke bottle under each of the beds. How these were missed by cleaning staff is crazy and kind of speaks volumes of cleanliness for me. Lastly, staffing wise, it seemed understaffed. When we checked in there was one person running the front desk and a line of 6 people waiting. He was very nice and helpful but was tired and overwhelmed from doing it all himself. Property itself has pretty view of lake but it’s 15 min drive to closest town, shops, gas, etc. not walking distance anywhere. And restaurant that looked so pretty was fully booked for dinner. We left after only one night even tho we booked 2.

Was skeptical about stay due to reading previous reviews! The property is just beautiful. Our room was nice and spacious. It had been updated with new carpet etc. Our family traveling with us had a few issues with their room, not cleaned, and had to move. The facility needs to get their rooms up to par with the remaining areas of the property and clearly get better or more cleaning resources. Would stay again!

This hotel is situated in a beautiful area. It could definitely use a refresh. The lady at check in was so rude and unhelpful I almost couldn’t believe it. The shining light was the young man who served us in the lounge/restaurant he was excellent!! Would be suitable for a 1-2 night stay

I was a bit displeased with my experience. I booked with weeks in advance and once i checked in i was advised my room was over booked and no longer available. Once we were given a different room we realized it was two beds rather than one. On top of that the tv and remote were nonfunctional and no one was available to assist. The only pros was the parking and the view.

They were low on cleaning staff because of which cleaning after the previous guests was delayed. We got our room at 9 pm and was asked to wait. There were many other guests who were affected and waited late into the night. Staff handled the situation courteously but they could have informed us ahead if they had any hint on this issue. Beach on the lake next to the resort has a lot of thorns. Not sure if there are other beaches. There is good water activity, although hourly rentals were expensive. Daily rental was reasonable. Otherwise, it’s a nice place. Throughly enjoyed the sunrise and sitting on the bench on the shore overlooking the lake.

Very bad management. We went there around 8:30 pm for checking. The front desk said they were short staffs and had some crews cleaning the rooms. However, they unable to tell how long we have to wait for the room to be ready. Some people ahead of me had been waiting for 2 hours and don’t get the answers for how long to be ready either. They only told me to wait or to cancel the reservation. The fact that, I had to find a new hotel and had to pay higher price because of this. The hotel didn’t offer any compensation and didn’t try to help anything. However, I decided to cancel the reservation and go with another hotel.

Completely short staffed unable to accommodate their guests! Check in was painful! Took over two hours past the 4pm check in time to get into our room. The rooms are very dated and furniture is all scratched up. We had our curtains off the rod without hooks. Check out was terrible as well took over 30 minutes to check out because the woman couldn’t figure out how to give us the 50 percent discount for our inconvenience. We did not ask for that discount but the staff realized how bad everyone’s experience was. We were not the only ones waiting for rooms. They told us they had staff cleaning rooms that wasn’t their jobs?? Tried to get towels out by the hot tub front desk told me they would send them right out. Ha ha we all drip dried in 60 degree weather.. would absolutely not recommend this hotel!
