Beautiful little hotel! The bedrooms, and indeed the whole place, was tasteful decorated with lots of lovely touches around & about. Michael, the owner, was very welcoming & helpful & went out of his way to make sure we were looked after, even arranging some takeout breakfast as we had to be up & out first thing. The rooms were comfortable & stylish, I had an excellent nights sleep! I was just sorry we weren’t there a little longer to take advantage of the downstairs space & well stocked...

Lovely little place. Very quite also. Wish the pub was open for drinks at any time but but not your typical pub. Food there was lovely though! Especially the sea bass. Walk in shower was amazing! Great if you need an accessible rooms

This is a very nice place to stay and the Inn over the road is a great place to eat. The rooms and communal areas have been very tastefully decorated and it is very comfortable. Only one point, some of the rooms overlook a road which is surprisingly busy even in the middle of the night - not great if you are a light sleeper.

An excellent inn/accommodation with good food and reasonable prices. An old inn, much extend and beautifully decorated. Room are in the pub and 2 outside buildings. Only issue I would have is parking and access. . The site rises to the rear, both to the parking and the outside buildings. I use a walking stick and could just about manage the slopes and the stairs but severe walkers or wheel chair users would not. There is disabled parking (and electric charge points) availed. Country hotel set in beautiful grounds, but modern and comfortable inside, friendly helpful staff and delicious food made for a relaxing short break. This was made even more special by a large delightful room and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.

Very pleasant stay, we arrived late but had let staff know in advance, room was very spacious and clean, beds very comfortable and breakfast was good and very good value for money

Brand new hotel. Lovely staff. Fantastic rooms & in room facilities. I hope the prices don’t increase hugely once this becomes a more established location.

Lovely hotel. Food was fine. Only negative was train line in the rear of the building. Bedrooms are too close and a bit noisy early doors. Ask for a front facing bedroom.

Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...
