Rooms are just too small unless you are literally just walking in and sleeping. I needed a desk to do some work and it was really quite a struggle to do anything.

Malmaison Oxford
Stayed one night, room was nice - clean and spacious, lovely bathroom and amenities. Had the breakfast the next day and it was one of the nicest hotel breakfasts I've had. Lots of choice included. Only personal gripe is that the website doesn't highlight that some rooms are only accessible via stairs ...
