"Gorgeous flat, quiet, really comfortable, fantastic set up with everything you need in the kitchen, clean, and even a couple of croissants left for breakfast. The bed was comfy, the room was dark and a blackbird very gently woke us up at a reasonable time in the morning. At the end of the road are loads of decent eateries as well as a lovely pub with excellent bar staff. There's on street parking outside, free overnight to 9am, and then £6.50 for 4 hours. "The hotel is very well situated near all the bars and restaurants and the places of interest to visit in Brighton. However, there is a flight of stairs up to the front entrance and no ramp so we had to drag our cases up and down these stairs, which wasn’t easy as we are 2 ladies in our 70s. We had a car with us which we had to park in a public car park very conveniently placed opposite the hotel, but it was very expensive at £32 for 24 hours. Our room was clean and comfortable and we even had a view of the sea!"
