The room was amazing. The view was spectacular. The bed was really comfortable. I can't fault the place at all. The only downside was the wifi wasn't working and the 4G was down also. This could have been due to the weather but it made communicating with the host difficult but thankfully we had everything we needed and it was only a two day stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Perfect for our needs. Close to ferry and amenities. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Linda and Kevin were perfect hosts. Breakfast was piping hot. Would not hesitate to recommend this to others.

The hotel was excellent; staff, room, evening dinner and breakfast. However, as a disabled visitor it was impossible for me to open the door of my room due to the heaviness of the door itself.

Excellent location overlooking Sound of Barra and Atlantic Ocean, with views of Eriskay and Barra. The staff were very helpful and the food was very good. Room and bed comfortable and a nicely fitted out bathroom. Shower with hot water from a water tank which has not been the norm on our trip through the Highlands and Islands. Only a short journey from Eriskay so Whisky Galore aficionados can probably have wee dram at the Politician pub beforehand. But be cautious about Scottish drink...

Lovely hotel reasonably priced. Breakfast excellent lots of choice. Good priced evening meals. Staff lovely and friendly.

No issues welcoming hosts very clean ideal for my short stay while I was working on the island but equally as good for anyone talking a short hiking break or similar would recommend and be more than happy to stay when I return next year

Everything was perfect, view, everything in the cottage you could need, warm, clean and I loved the snug with all the reading material on offer on the bookcase. Lovely relaxing in the evening in the lounge with woodburner on, stone walls added to the character

This is no ordinary pod. It is beautifully presented with so much thought given to it's furnishing. I didn't expect to find a wine fridge or induction hob, but there they were. The towels are luxurious and the toiletries are classy. There are even pods provided for the Nespresso machine! The fridge is stocked with essentials, and even some non-essential treats. Just as importantly, I was given a proper warm welcome on arrival. I loved my stay here. PS The eggs were delicious.

The property had everything necessary for a relaxing break. Little extras from the owner were a great touch. The gated garden was perfect for our dog to enjoy the garden.
