Best Location…

We arrived at 13:00 and appreciated that our room was ready to check into and we didn't have to wait. We booked through Hotels.com and our room was towards the back of the hotel which was fine. It was a small size but had a double bed and a good balcony. The view from the balcony was facing the other block. There was no window in the bathroom which made the room quite dark. We only booked for 3 nights as we were going to move to a smaller place but decided to stay after enquiring about a different room. We had a room facing the road and the beach. It was perfect and we were so grateful. This room had a window in the bathroom and was a good size. We enjoyed our time here. All the staff who are Greek and British were amazing. So friendly and helpful. There wasn't 1 staff member who was unfriendly. This is it's biggest asset. Breakfast was good. A selection of cold and full English available. They took the health of it's customers very seriously and had devised a one way system at Breakfast which worked well. It wasn't rocket science as you entered one way and left the other but it was a shame that some people didn't get it and went whatever way they wanted. All the staff wear masks which is reassuring but alot of people think as they're away that COVID doesn't exist anymore and social distancing etc went out the window. We could see customers board their coach as they were leaving (Jet2) and so many had to be asked to put a mask on. We loved the location and the beach nearby. The beach is perfect for swimming. The water is so calm and there are coves to explore. The dogs bark a lot but it seems common in Greece. It was a perfect place to be based. …

We enjoyed our stay tremendously at Silver Olives. All of the family made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. The villa is very quiet and tranquil, in a rural setting, which is what we wanted, but still just a short drive from restaurants, supermarkets, beach etc. The views are simply stunning from the villa - they take your breath away. The sunsets across the Ionian Sea were mesmerising. The gardens surrounding the pool are beautiful and the pool is fabulous. This is a little bit of paradise and we wouldn't hesitate to return.…We enjoyed our stay tremendously at Silver Olives. Porto Demo Boutique Hotel - All Inclusive Adults Only

Poor poor hotel. Nothing Boutique about it …

Most of the descriptions of this hotel are very misleading. To call itself a boutique hotel is a stretch to say the least. - Not enough sun beds for the rooms that it has. Get up at 5am to secure one isn’t my idea of relaxation. - They has a sister hotel and they were shipping couples from that hotel to ours if they had complained at the other. - bedding and towels were very tired and didn’t fit the bed and the promise of robes and kettles were not there. - 2 small pools again not big enough to cope - Food was terrible. Cold buffet and as they had to do a served buffet due to Covid you felt they were just throwing food on a plate as they queue was long with people waiting. - Boutique isn’t getting beer in plastic glasses or glasses so small you to order 2 for half a pint. - we chose to use a public pool down the road as the family were lovely and we only had to buy a drink - we had to rent pool towels despite me calling the hotel before to ask if they provided them. However when you book all inclusive you expect to be fed and watered as part of the offer. No discount was offered as compensation l I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. Spend your money at a place where they listen when you complain. Hotels.com.
