"Great hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. We had booked a classic room which was small but extremely cozy and luxurious. It was right on the top floor so we had to carry our suitcases up the final flight of stairs which might be a problem for some people. We didn't eat here but did have a really good cocktail in the bar. If we need to stay in Dunedin again then we would definitely return to Fable. "

"Longbourne lodge was in such a peaceful setting. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our accommodation where everything was fantastic. The kitchen is well equiped and the lodge had everything we needed. Great stay, well run and I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Hotel is a "Classic" hotel in the central area of Dunedin but is dated. Heater is a wall heater without a thermostat. Staff are friendly and deserve a commendation. There is a small casino attached to the hotel. Restaurant is good.
Classic experience but could use more modern comforts."

"We stayed here for a weekend. Young family of four. Was great having two bedrooms and a separate living area. Restaurants in St Clair fantastic. We found the place very spacious and liked how it had everything we needed. Place was also easy to heat. Will stay here again. "
