The apartment is located on the second floor reached by stairs (about 30 steps) that allow access to the terrace shared with the apartment next door. It consists of a living area with a built-in kitchen, fireplace, table and double sofa bed, and a bedroom with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The living area leads to the large panoramic terrace, equipped with a dining table with chairs and 4 chaise longues. From here it is possible to admire the splendid panorama of Ostuni Cathedral, located next to the apartment: in particular, the facade of the right aisle and its rose window. Free wifi, air conditioning and heat pump heating will be available to guests. \*Due to its central location, the apartment is not suitable for travelers seeking tranquility, but it is perfect for those who love nightlife! Given that the accommodation is located in a lively area, the presence of nearby pubs and nightlife spots may result in some noise during the evening and nighttime hours. \*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings outside of the city centre and enjoying the old town on foot. \*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy. Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town. Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996\. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019\.
