Carved into the stone and characterized by the typical white of Apulian houses, "In Alto Mare" is the ideal solution to spend your vacations with friends or family. The property is spread over two levels: on the mezzanine floor is the living area consisting of a sitting room with a dining table, a sofa and a TV, and a kitchen equipped with amenities including a microwave, an espresso coffee machine and a kettle. In an alcove typical of Ostuni houses, there is a double bed. A bathroom with shower completes the floor. Climbing a few stone steps leads to the upper floor, where there is the main room furnished with a queen-size bed, a bench and typical Salento lights to embellish the room. From here there is then access to the panoramic terrace, where there is a dining table and some deckchairs, perfect for relaxing moments in the open air. \*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy. Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its historic centre, blindingly white and immense, culminates in the Cathedral that impetuously dominates the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (400 metres away) and the column of St Oronzo that majestically protects the town are characteristic. Its countryside extends into the heart of the Valle d'Itria. A few km away is Ceglie Messapica, a centre of tradition and enogastronomy, Cisternino, a village recognised as one of the most beautiful in Italy, Alberobello whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996\. About 30 km to the north we find the Egnazia Archaeological Park, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic centre and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while moving south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westwards there is Taranto, the heart of Magna Graecia and finally Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European capital of culture.
