"Very nice two night stay at Hotel Heritage recently. The hotel is small (only 20 rooms), lovely, and in a great location. FYI - Ljubljana has the largest pedestrian zone in Europe, so you cannot drive to Hotel Heritage, even to drop off luggage. However, it's located pretty close to the edge of the zone, so you can cab to the bridge at the end of the pedestrian zone, and then it's a 5-minute (tops!) walk to the hotel with your luggage from there. The staff were really helpful - they ordered us...

"Wonderful stylish hotel and restaurant located right on the pedestrian promenade by the river. I had a room open to the side street and it was quiet enough with the windows open. I also relaxed by the rooftop infinity pool in the setting sun. Would have stayed a 2nd night but it was fully booked. "
