What a fabulous hidden treasure this hotel is!! Everything was immaculate and there were loads of extra finishing touches that made it well worth the price. Everyone was so friendly and the hotel is perfectly positioned for all the best shops and restaurants within easy strolling distance. A New Year's Eve celebration and stay to remember and I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

This hotel is so good, you should actually change your travel dates to make sure you can stay here. It’s a perfect boutique hotel in the old town of Ljubljana with only 15 rooms. The breakfast is incredible, take your time, do not miss out because you want a quick grab and go, it’s an experience worth the visit and the time. The location is perfect along the river, and walking distance to everything. Also they sort out parking for you so no need to worry.

Always enjoy my stay at Grof Personally I prefer the guesthouse to the hotel (I have stayed in both) it just seems more homely, but regardless of where you sleep I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay at Grof. The restaurant and coffee shop is very well frequented by the locals, which is always a good sign.

The room was well maintained. Breakfast is a delight. The staff are wonderful and the young lady (Goldie horn look aLike is extremely helpful). As were other staff. Enabled to use motorcycle garage was a great help.

The hotel is a lovely modern one that has been refurbished to a high level in the recent past. The Reception area is small but that cannot be said of the rooms that are large and boast wonderful modern bathrooms. The staff were friendly and very helpful with tips on where to eat and what to see in the city and for me made this hotel even more special. Amazing rooms. Got free upgrade to suite and it was perfect. I sih could have stayed longer than 1 night. It was snowing and my wife and I both uses the fantastic gym. One of the best equipment I've seen at a gym around Europe. Funky and boutique styling of the the hotel was class. The rooms had LG TVs with USB ports throughout the rooms. Fantastic little find for a night to stop-over on our way to the caves. Lovely warm welcome and the food was fab.

New building in beautiful parkland. High quality food choices from breakfast to dinner.

Food is really really good. I think it was about 25 euros for dinner per person. The hotel is in a little village with a nice garden with outdoor seating, indoor seating, two swing chairs and a beautiful view of grassy meadows and mountains.

A beautiful hotel with lots of history. Situated on a rise with stunning views of the river and hills. The staff couldn't have been better. They were all very welcoming, polite and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and evening dinner were superb. I highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed here to visit Ljubljana, as there was parking we left the car and we travelled on the bus from outside the B&B. The room was spacious and spotless, the breakfast is served in the cafe below and was really tasty. I'd also recommend it for evening drinks as it was much cheaper than the city. Reception staff were helpful in giving us ideas on stops along our route the next day too.

Great place to stay for exploring Ljubljana or Slovenia's natural heritage. Nice rooms, smiling staff and perfect breakfast for great start to every day :) Highly recommended! We will be back for sure...

Lovely hotel in the heart of the old town. We had a huge, extremely comfortable attic room with a view across the rooftops. Nice big bathroom and quality toiletries. Staff were super helpful. Excellent restaurant recommendations.. Breakfast delicious. Coffee and cakes available complimentary in the lounge all day.

8 roomed B&B, rooms all on first floor (UK) so have to use one set of stairs. Rooms all good size. There didn't seem to be any air conditioning or fan so they were a little warm as we shut window at night to block out noise (it was not a very noisy location but could hear people talking as they walked along the street).
