I nearly considered getting a hotel after I checked in. The place is basically an old apartment building I think. It looked like a college kid’s apartment. Bathrooms were slightly dirty and smelly. The room was ok the first night but then smelled SO BAD the next two nights of garlic and sweaty bodies. It was very stuffy in the room. Not enough bathroom or shower rooms. 2 of each for the whole building? You have to hunt for it in a residential area. It may or may not have been safe area. I was a little creeped out walking there at night in the quiet dark and narrow alleyways. WiFi was good, staff was very nice. It is only one stop away (subway Midosuji line) from Shin-Osaka station. It took a while for me to locate the place - after all, it is not that difficult when you get used to it. The staff who approached me was very friendly, explained clearly everything to me. He even recommended places of interest of Osaka to me. The room is quite big. Bed is comfortable as well. All basic amenities are available.
