I've stayed in business hotels, budget backpacker hotels, a capsule hotel and ryokan in Osaka and this was by far the best. It's not really a ryokan but self contained studio flat with balcony over looking Shinsekai and the Tsutenkaku tower. The staff show you the room and they're very helpful and speak good English. Despite being next to a motorway flyover, noise was never an issue.
