The property is extremely beautiful and modern, and visually, it was a WOW! The hotel room was also a WOW! Hirakata was an ok town, but we were there to visit our son, and the location worked out well because it was maybe a 20 minute walk to his university, AND we were really close to the train station...which made it super easy to hop on a train and go to Kyoto or Osaka. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Kansai region. New hotel with stunning landscape. The rooftop onsen is amazing, strongly recommend to go. Hotel locates right on top of a new mall, various shops and restaurants around. Very convinience. Just one thing about the cleaniness of the house keeping which i concerned. There are 2 options for room keeping service: 1\. Simple cleaning, 2\. Full Cleaning. I feel quite upset that no matter which options I chose, the glasses nor the cups did not clean or change for me. The coffee stain on the cups stayed for 3 days. I suggest that the hotel should clean the cups even for simple clean option. Bedding is comfortable, however, it would be great if the curtain lengh can fit the window.
