Nice and very convenient hotel. But..

Posted 11-Oct-2016
Very beautifully designed hotel, there is also a restaurant in the hotel (delicious), it's also super a 5-8 min drive to the beach. BUT, The gentleman that checked us in didn't seem very happy about the fact that my room was one with a view and he was trying to give me a standard room. I'm glad I had screenshot it my purchase because if not then he would've not given it to me. Then right after that he told me that he was going to charge me $28 for parking, which I think is ridiculous amount for parking. When we checked out two days later I realize that we were being charged $28 per day for parking. I spoke to someone else in the front desk about the charge being so extremely high and she was able to bring the price down for me. Moral of the story is that I was not happy with them not giving me what I had initially paid for. Oh and in order to use their Wi-Fi you have to sign up online and they can possibly charge you.

이중결재 때문에 고생하고 있습니다.

Posted 10-Oct-2016
Pros: 없음
Cons:

Check in staff was so rude and I hated her so bad. She charged me for parking eventhough I didn't park at the facility

Spacious Hotel

Posted 27-Sep-2016
Pros: Clean, friendly, nice sized room
Cons: The parking fee was outrageous for a suburban hotel. $28. No Valet parking. It was called the Newport Marriott but was more in Irvine.
Location: Says Newport but more in the city of Irvine. It took about 20 min to get to the pier/beach area of Newport. Nothing much to do around the hotel area
Stayed for a quick over night when in town for a wedding in Newport Beach. Friendly staff, spacious and there was a restaurant/bar on site.

Average stay

Posted 22-Sep-2016
Pros: The town it is in is very nice
Cons: Staff manners
Location: Lots of small shops and eateries close by
Kind of rude staff all around from the manager that never answers the phone to the voice operator that is unable to switch people in under 15 mins to the staff in general were below what I expect at a Marriott. Ok hotel in an ok location but not sure I will ever come back again.

Hotel Marriott Bayview Newport Beach

Posted 12-Sep-2016
Pros: Rooms were a good size and clean
Cons: The patio area is not inviting at all
Location: The location is not great if you wanted to walk and enjoy a dinner (You must drive everywhere) there are many restaurants with in 10 minutes
The hotel did not have an inviting patio to socialize with family and friends tables were left for hours without being cleared or cleaned There are no restaurants close by this is a business are You also have to pay 28 dollars per day to park your vehicle (ridiculous)

Nice hotel on the backbay.

Posted 06-Sep-2016
Very nice hotel on the backbay not far from the airport. Tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. It was Labor Day weekend and I was glad to be removed from the crazy traffic, impossible parking, and general insanity of the beachfront hotels. Bought the package that included breakfast. It was excellent (only wish it had included mimosas). My only two complaints: plug for the tub didn't work, so I couldn't enjoy a relaxing bath; at dusk I had the doors and windows open to enjoy the fresh ocean air, but had to close them due to the gas smell coming in from all the fire lits lit below. Oh! Also the parking fee was ridiculously high.

Run down rooms

Posted 25-Jul-2016 on Orbitz
Rooms are run down, poorely cleaned, my shower had hair all over. Elevator takes about 10-15 minutes to arrive. Use stairs. Very thin walls, you can hear Everything what your neighbors are doing. If u dont mind motel 6 quality but bigger rooms and ok breakfast, stay here.
