The Famous Peacock House

The Famous Peacock House

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the Peacock House for our family vacation on the east side of the Big Island. The team stayed in great communication even as Hurricane Lala was hitting the island. Our flights were canceled from Oahu so we lost a day, and Matt was great to work with us!He was honest about the fact that most of the island had lost power in the storm, including the house. We were given options and decided to stay anyway. It was a little rough without AC, fans, and lights, but it was an adventure and the house was great! We used the propane grill to cook and made the most of it : )I would recommend the house for a group, and Matt and team were so great to work with, even under challenging circumstances."

10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at the Guest House was fantastic! Jen and Jeff were so kind and welcoming to us, and supplied us with a healthy list of the best activities and resources on the island. The home is supplied with everything you could need from kitchen appliances, games, and coffee. I was worried about not having a/c, but in the middle of August, we stayed plenty comfortable via open windows and ceiling fans. We would recommend this rental again and again!"

8/10 Good
"Peaceful and beautiful location! In the past, we stayed at the Kailua-Kona side but wanted to give this side of the island a visit. The area is so beautiful and the vista to the ocean was spectacular The space had everything we could ask for including a cooler and beach chairs which made all our beach trips more comfortable! A/C in the bedroom made for restful sleep. Keep your screens closed and that will help with bugs. Dust on lamps and a small fan made me sneeze, but all good."
