Nice cosy boutique hotel close to all attractions. Room been very small but bed is just amaizing I didn't want to get up. Only one negative thing we stay on first floor next to the lift and when someone using lift it makes crazy loud scary noise. Its very annoying. Otherwise lovely hotel.

Stayed in Hotel R De Paris for 3 nights, very pleased. Room wasn't huge but uber-clean & cosy, & to be hosest if you're just there for the weekend you don't actually spend that much time actually in the room, always out & about. I wouldn't bother with the 20Euro/person breakfast, there's a amazing bakery just up the road (out the door, up the hill, first corner on the right) amazin breakfast 7.5 Euro each & a few tables so you can eat in. Liege Metro station only 2 mins walk, from there anywhere in Paris is easy to get to. Also the Hotel is walking distance to both Moulin Rouge (10 mins) & Sacre Coeur ( 20 mins ). Can't think of much else to say, I'd go again, for what you could pay in Paris, this place was a bargin .... in my opinion.

As a French citizen living in the U.S., I often come back home and spend a night or two in the capital. Over the years, I've seen many different hotels from the big chains to smaller more unique hotels. This is one of the best hotels I've been to. If you like contemporary design, the rooms are unique in style. The staff is helpful and the location is second to none.
My only question is, do I really want to try any other hotel next time I come to Paris?
"Great boutique hotel close in great part of Paris"
The staff was extremely welcoming. I arrived a bit early, hoping to leave my bag in the cloakroom. Instead I was told that my room was cleaned already and I could use it straight away. This was a nice touch!
In the basement is a small spa, a steam room and plunge pool. This was a great treat as I spent many hours walking through Paris, it was cold and my feet were aching. The steam room was a welcome treat.
The room itself is spacious and nicely decorated. I liked the colour scheme. I sleep solidly for 10 hours so the bed was very comfy and the room was quiet.
The location is in hip part of town. I walked from Gare du Nord to the hotel in about 20 minutes. Around the corner of the hotel is a metro station (Saint-Georges) and this has a convenient connection with Solferino station which is near Musee d'Orsay (line 12).
We used this Hotel as our base for a business trip. We had not been there before and were pleased with the staff, who were friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was incredibly quiet at night.
The only criticism would be that the one side of the room near the window was very dark and it was hard to see in the cupboard..That may not matter in the summer. The room is small, but very well appointed The Hotel location was terrific near to many restaurants, shops and the metro.
