"The room was clean and fairly large, but it was described as a boutique hotel and it was far from that. It was an old rodeway motel and that is really what it was. I would not stay again."

"Host was very responsive. Home was fully stocked. Property is a bit worn and could use some fresh paint and touch ups. Bedroom and loft are in the same area so no privacy there. Just didn’t notice that in the listing pictures. Lots of stairs to navigate (over 50 of them) so if carrying large luggage or have physical limitations that may be something to consider. No a/c so if it’s warmer weather that may be an issue. We don’t sleep with doors open and were uncomfortable for only one night of our stay. Deck up stairs was wonderful! Beautiful view. Overall it was a good stay. At time of visit access to the beach was closed for construction so we had to walk about 15 minutes to another access point. "

"Amazing place! Lots of room to hang out inside or outside. There were more stairs than I was expecting to get to the place. Was very thankful to have the garage to keep non-essential things in. Very clean too!"

"Had a great time, this was our 1st time staying in San Clemente but for sure will not be our last. Everything you need is within walking distance or a 10 minute drive, beach, food, cafes, pier and cant forget the outlets for those shoppers in the family. The place was clean cozy and fully stocked but the sunsets while sitting in the dining room were priceless. "
