"The room was clean and fairly large, but it was described as a boutique hotel and it was far from that. It was an old rodeway motel and that is really what it was. I would not stay again."

"Cons: No receptionist. Stayed in room 6 which is next to the bar. Super noisy. Pros: big, beautiful, clean room. I loved the room, but will not be going back because I don't like going to a hotel without a receptionist. It's a cold vibe. "

"Host was very responsive. Home was fully stocked. Property is a bit worn and could use some fresh paint and touch ups. Bedroom and loft are in the same area so no privacy there. Just didn’t notice that in the listing pictures. Lots of stairs to navigate (over 50 of them) so if carrying large luggage or have physical limitations that may be something to consider. No a/c so if it’s warmer weather that may be an issue. We don’t sleep with doors open and were uncomfortable for only one night of our stay. Deck up stairs was wonderful! Beautiful view. Overall it was a good stay. At time of visit access to the beach was closed for construction so we had to walk about 15 minutes to another access point. "

"We had a very nice two-week stay at this San Clemente condo. There is a lot to appreciate, especially the location and the host’s attentiveness.Pros:Bright, spacious condo with a great multi-level layout, a large living room, and pretty coastal décor. Comfortable beds, lots of sunlight, many supplies, and a large private patio with a grill. Easy parking with a big driveway. The location is excellent—close to shops, restaurants, and the pier. Riki is a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and very easy to communicate with.Cons:The condo shows signs of age and heavy use. The kitchen could benefit from a deep cleaning and updates to older appliances, sink, and fixtures. Some areas, including the upstairs tub, screen door at main entrance, living room sofa and rear patio loveseat covers, appear worn and would benefit from refreshing or replacement.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and with some updates and attention to upkeep, this property could fully match the high standard reflected in its many positive reviews."

"We loved the house and the views!! Unfortunately the description of the house said that there was beach access steps from the house but this access was closed for long term construction. Wish we had known this going in as the walk to the beach from the house was quite long. Otherwise the home met our needs and was enjoyable!!"
