"A beautiful hotel that was once the home of a famous engineer. The interior decor is rich with high-quality furnishings. The bathroom is large and elegantly appointed. Excellent housekeeping. My room had tall windows and a wonderful view of the city. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Bamberg Train Station."

"Would not stay there again. We were out the whole day and put the sign out to clean the room unfortunately this did not happen and when we came back at 8pm we asked for fresh towels but we’re out of luck . The owner or manager was not very friendly at all. No complimentary water but charged almost 5 euro for a bottle of water. We paid $100 per night without breakfast. Cannot recommended at all "

"We arrived after 6 and getting our key was tough. Communication was tricky and while the photos show parking in front of property, you will get a 50 Euro ticket if you do."

"The room was clean, bright and modern with a comfortable bed. It wasn't without a few problems though. No sockets by the bed and the nearest ones on the TV wall didn't work. The shower head wouldn't remain at the right angle. Biggest problem for us was the lack of a kettle in the room. Access to coffee machine (payment required) in reception was only in the morning, it was all locked up when returning at night. To me, the ability to have a coffee at night is a basic requirement that I expect...
