(27 reviews) I recommend Genjikoh for the amazing Japanese experience of enjoying the open bath overlooking the ocean and the various activities in the hotel such as the scent workshop. We booked a room for 5 and it was spacious and was pleasantly surprised it has 2 toilets. The sea view was breathtaking. We don’t book the meals as we don’t eat raw food but we had difficulty finding a good eatery outside as there are few amenities nearby and they close early. This place is great for those who drive but inaccessible otherwise even though the hotel has a shuttle bus. We are glad we had a rental car and could enjoy this great ryokan experience! (51 reviews) This was the best place that I stayed in my whole trip. A bus picks up guests at the local train station. The check-in process was easy and clear. The other guests were positive and friendly. There was an evening buffet and a morning buffet included in the price. The view out my window was very nice, a small port. I rested very well and it was nice walking around in yukata robe and slippers. Wonderful relaxing place to stay!
