The area was very safe and quiet. An excellent place to get away from the hustle of a city. Transport to the city is not ideal if you don’t have a car, so keep that in mind if you’d like to tour the area. There is not much near by. The food was excellent but lacked diversity as the menu did not change over the days we were there.

Great experience and lovely resort to stay. Public bath was amazing and the buffet breakfast was delicious. The only improvement we would recommend was better AC to cool the room (424), and coffee.

Although restaurants were limited & closed during this time, surrounding area offer dining option & iizakaya style dining. Parking is charged daily if you drive. Hotel is secluded from busy city life. You can enjoy beach activities there.

This is a very nice property. It’s a tad dated but very nice and clean. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The public beach is a short walk and very nice. The view from the deluxe corner room was panoramic and beautiful. It is in an isolated spot so that is nice except while we were there the bar and some restaurants were not open so there was only one choices for dinner only and it was approximately $50 per person and a buffet-but a very good Japanese buffet. I recommend the breakfast package and a car. There were a couple of nice restaurants near by but it is not walkable-no sidewalks and would be too dark at night. They do have a store with drinks and alcohol and some snacks- nothing fancy. The Expedia website showed the bar and restaurants open and we were very disappointed to find out they were closed. On their Japanese website it did say they were closed for renovations (we met Japanese speakers who checked), but only on the website in Japanese not on the hotel’s English translation website. We would not have booked it if we had known.

Fabulous Japanese breakfast buffet and it’s close to the beach, park, and walking trails. I liked the Eco option of having your room cleaned or you can request to skip for a coupon to spend at the hotel shops. Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms.

Loved the pool. Breakfast was nice. The staff was very accommodating and of course it is beautifully clean. The beach was not great. Good but not great.

We upgraded the room to premium which is the 12th floor on arrival as they offered a special discount offer. The room was amazing with a fantastic view. Highly recommended

Our family enjoyed the weekend staying at the hotel, enjoying the beach and the myriad of activities that they had prepared for the summer. There are lots of marine activities at the beach, and at the hotel, there is no shortage of things to do as well. Especially for the kids who enjoyed the mini-activity/festival booths the hotel has prepared with traditional Japanese carnival games. It was a blast! Stay here especially during Summer.

It's a bit out of nowhere. But hotel still clean and just been renovated. Especially the traditional style room, it's good when u have a kid with you.

Very nice stay. Front desk and bus/shuttle desk really helpful! Shops were nice but too expensive. Breakfast buffet very good and good variety. Only bad thing was the bad smell in the hallway and room. I believe it was mold! We used room deodorizer which helped a little. Overall nice hotel. We were close to family so had a great stay. Thank you!!

Great family experience. It's not a fancy new resort, but our room with a view is clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Service is outstanding. Buffet breakfast is delicious. Pool, sauna, and beach access available. The hotel features a little traditional performance at the lobby every night at 9 pm. Be careful visiting during peak season. There's often a long wait for elevators and buffet breakfast even during a May stay.

We enjoyed our stay in the Royal Hotel OKINWA ZANPAMISAKI. It is located quiet remotely so if you don't have a car like we didn't it's easier to stay for dinner in the hotel or to pop in the restaurant opposite the hotel. The hotel has is close to the beach with its own public bath, lovely garden and a swimming pool. I would recommend this hotel if you want everything in one location and you have kids it's perfect location.

Low level place
Huge restaurant area for breakfast but very poor variety of meal, tasteless food, plastic plates and folks. Honestly nothing delicious, even pineapple was not fresh, went hungry after this pathetic breakfast looking forward for lunch. Menu for dinner is unreasonable expensive, small portions and not delicious. For example, Okinawa local vegetables rakyo was served at tiny amount for over 600 yen. All food is overpriced. So, we gave up to have any decent food at the hotel and visited outside restaurant Kujira, which has excellent food, friendly service and honest reasonable prices. Another drawback at this hotel was a room charge. Reception could not explain why I was charged for the room as 2 persons even though on my 2 and 3 nights I stayed alone. public bath area was not clean, a lot of hair was everywhere in the dressing room. My room was last at the corridor and far from an elevator, I was charged for “ocean view”, it was only partially ocean, mostly hotels facilities buildings and jungles. Beach doesn’t belong to hotel is across the road and takes time to walk there. Very poorly equipped with artificial entertainments and boring views. Relaxation salon’s sign is switched on, even though the salon was closed years ago. Feel deceived and disappointed. Public bath area was not cleaned, a lot of hair spread. A massage after the bath and is another disappointment, the lady had long nails. Welcome to my black list, never ever stay in this terrible place.

It was amazing and the reception even though they can’t understand English they tried their best to helped us and assisting us, the only problem we had was the hotel was a little bit too far from town area sometimes we have to asked them to help us book a cab for two way etc

Hotel room was very dusty, thick dust under furniture. AC was very was not very good. Hallways were musty smell with leaking windows. Karoake rooms had mold and wallpaper falling off. You pay so much for hotel and then they charge you for things like pool towels. For a resort it was pretty dead. Things like the pool close too early.

We pick this place for its proximity to a nice beach, daycare service and pool. Beach was awesome and on-site convenience store was NICE. Beds were comfy. Daycare was understaffed and we could not place our daughter there. Pool closed at 6pm, which is roo early for summertime and there are no coffee to be found or purchased in the hotel lobby before 8am. Mini golf was not in operation until the last day of our stay. Be aware of extra charge for mini golf, pool towel. Before you book this place make sure the amenities you expect will be available and for what price.
