We stayed 3 nights on the top floor 10, labelled as premium floor. It has a great view of the ocean. Excellent condition of the property, it is thoroughly modernised and well maintained. Service quality is great. Very pleasant stay. You may not have convenient public transport. Should have a car. The restaurants in the property isn’t that great in my opinion.

Excellent experience for anyone who is visiting Japan. Abit pricey, but the leisure travel here was very exceptional. Staff could be abit more friendly, but overall I will come back again definitely!

The staff are terribly unfriendly and went out of their way to make our stay WORSE. For example, we asked if they had a microwave, “Nope, we don’t have one on the property.” Really? How many rooms are there here, and you don’t have a microwave anywhere? “Actually, we don’t let guests use it, but just this once…” Seriously? It’s a thirty second inconvenience. Also, about that family friendly pool?“No kids under 14 allowed.” Want to enjoy the onsen with the kids? “No kids under 5 allowed.” My advice— if you hate yourself, customer service, and especially kids, this is the place for you! Otherwise, STEER CLEAR OF THIS AWFUL HOTEL

The hotel is OK but there is little to recommend it. Not having vegetarian or vegan options is not a surprise, but being 100% unable to accommodate was very disappointing. The beach is horrendous.

A grand hotel with a great thermal spa, saunas, onsen & infinity pool. The view of the Pacific Ocean is a must. An added bonus was an unrestricted view of Mt. Fuji from one end of the infinity pool. My only complaint was the pillows they provided; one was too hard & thick while the other was too soft & thin. I also thought the restaurants were a little pricey. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I liked the great location of the Hotel although Covid led to the closure of some facilities I feel the hotel could be trying harder. Great bed and comfortable pillows (...pillows that I would have been willing to buy and take home with me )..a suggestion I made to the staff upon checkout about selling the pillows to guests...but I have a feeling this won't happen unfortunately. If the khotel follows my suggestion I would love to know.Overall thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would go back again.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been with. It’s just a few hours away from the busy routine of the city. A great getaway to relax and refresh. They have the best spa and amenities. I will definitely be back soon!

No housekeeping for 2nights stay or more!
Service from staff were bad and poor attitude by some. Very unlike of Prince Hotels branding. No room housekeeping provided for >2nights plan which later realized was in fine print and not mentioned clearly on booking website. Staff was rude and wasn’t even willing to change towels. Escalated to the hotel Manager and he agreed to housekeeping. Booking website needs to indicate clearly. However overall facility is modern and well maintained. Onsen was good too.

Leaves a lot to be desired especially in off season. The bar never opened and we were limited to one restaurant in the hotel. We stayed in a 4 bedroom room for our 4 person family. One of the 4 beds was so comfortable that my kids were fighting over it (as the others were barely tolerable). The tub is small and the shower is a handheld device in the room where the tub is located. We have stayed in many Prince hotels and this one is just not as nice.

Highly recommended
The hotel is located in the Shonan area of Kanagawa and is close to Odawara or Enoshima. The hotel itself is beautiful and landscaped really nice like you are in Hawaii. Rooms are big and clean. We booked rooms with ocean view, and it was well worth the extra money. Breakfast was good, and the hotel has onsen (public Japanese bath) and a spa (with an infinity swimming pool). I think there is even a bowling facility and a go-cart place nearby. The only minor disadvantage is that there are not many restaurants nearby so if you are not willing to drive or get a cab, you are stuck at eating at one of the two restaurants in the hotel, but both places serve good food. I really cannot say anything bad about this place.

Going into the hotel' s parking place was a little challenging. Road signatures are in sufficient. I found myself driving on the toll road while trying to reach to the hotel entrance. 4the floor pool and spa facility is great. Top class. Rooms are a little small but very clean. Hotel is recently renewed so you will enjoy it.

New renovation of previously tired hotel and spa
The hotel was renovated in April 2017 so I would look at reviews after this date. The thermal spa was great - a lot of sauna, hot stone room and chill spaces and the infinity is great at sunrise and sunset with its views especially Fuji. The hotel restaurants are expensive but if you walk directly away from the hotel on a main road there is Lawson convenience store, some ramen and gyoza stores and other food options. The spa is not for kids under 12 though. The nearby go kart track was great fun too!

Terrible terrible hotel with amazing view.
Was told last minute that non smoking room booked was actually a deodorized smoking room. Pool was not open at all but nothing prior had indicated that it would be closed. Breakfast was super expensive and worse than prison food. Asked for a poached egg and told no. For £15+ would expect someone to be able to put a egg in boiling water. On checkout could not get an invoice or receipt. Pretty poor show all round. Avoid at all costs unless the only thing you want is a great sea view.

Nice Hotel for the Price. Some Inconvenience.
The cheap rates and amazing views from the ocean view rooms are the main reasons why I use this hotel often. The rooms are clean and the service is good, but there are many inconveniences about this hotel, mainly the location. The hotel is located between Oiso and Ninomiya stations, so you have to take a taxi or bus. The hotel has many attractions like pools and bowling, and also has a few restaurants, but there is almost nothing outside the hotel grounds within walking distance.

Bit old-fashioned in hotel, and no wi-fi in rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great that you could sign up for 'Greener cleaning experience' and get a 500 yen vouncher instead of room being made-up in mornings. Great idea! Really expensive hotel-based eating options for the quality of the the hotel we had paid for (we went to Tokyo airport hotel after this, a lot more upmarket and the food there was cheaper). We had hotel breakfast one morning - a good buffet - costs equivalent of £20 or thereabouts which we didn't mind as a one off - we could eat plenty - but we avoided the resauraunts. You pay extra to use hot springs, but not much. Big disappointment - I hadnt really grasped before booking that the pools were separate to hotel and you pay extra to go there, with a slight discount for staying in the hotel. PLUS its about £35 to have a seat and little table. We felt a bit ripped off by all this. Food outlets around this complex were actually very reasonably priced and nice. A good summary would be that if you have a young family that is content to hang around the pool all day, this is a good hotel for you. As a couple we felt that there was no evening atmosphere at the hotel, (but you might like this if you want quiet). We tried the hotel's BBQ beer terrace, but had to pay 18.000 yen to enter (got a snack and a drink),but hardly anyone else used this service. Going in August was good - hotel quite quiet, but we wouldn't choose to go again.

Oiso prince hotel is a gem. The open air pools, convenient bowling lanes and indoor pool are a plus - especially during the rain :)
