The place needs some work but overall it was a nice quiet beautiful place. The restaurant onsite is very expensive so if you can buy food outside its better.

Okaaay....lack of privacy

I stayed in a 'standard room'. First impressions were good i.e. room clean bright, although the pics didnt reflect the room I was in & perhaps slighy smaller. Nice surroundings. Negatives 1)Lack of privacy The standard room is adjoined to another standard room'. These 2 rooms share a locked adjoining door HOWEVER, I could hear all sounds from the adjoining room i.e a conversations, snoring, music TV etc (these sounds do not need to be loud to hear). I assumed they could hear my conversations too which was unsettling. The 2 rooms SHARE a patio which is not in the description of hotels.com 2) There's a steep climb from the security gate to the apartments. Probably NOT suitable for some (if you have car then great) 3) The cleaner did a great job whilst I was there but there was an issue with ants which were attracted to the coffee table (even when the table was cleaned and sugar was moved to the fridge). The person in the room next door advised of the same issue. On a good note, the ants just stayed by the coffee table. 4) coffee, tea & water is provided (no milk) HOWEVER the 2 small water bottles and coffe/tea sachets weren'treplaced during my stay. (Only 2 additional sachets were available when requested) 5)as a solo female traveller the locks on the very large bathroom window and patio doors could be modernised and improved. Condos on the Ridge are are privately managed rooms located inside Mystic Ridge- VERY useful to know when trying to find the location.

Location, location, location, the property is within walking distance of daily vacation necessities. Food, the beach, night life, and a short car ride from all other major attractions. The property itself is still very quiet, boasting its own pool and restaurant.

During our 5-day stay, staff only came to clean our room once. Booking was very deceiving. The website tells you that you’re booking for Condos at the Ridge but there’s a private owner on the property who owns 3 small separate buildings that are Not condos, more like to hotel rooms, so they’re much smaller. I believed, and was verbally told that I had a condo up until I arrived, I was given keys to a small double bedroom with a bathroom, which isn’t a condo at all. The service people at the check-in have absolutely nothing to do with the private owner, so they couldn’t help.

The lady that checked us was polite and nice .. but the upstairs was because the ac was not working properly stayed for 8 days no fan and there was garbage on the property disgusting when passing to climb the stairs and trash on the ground . Was nothing like i expected place needs improvement will not be staying here again for the kind of mo ey i spent fir a week i thought it would be a netter experience.

The location is perfect. The staff is hospitable. The building exteriors are in need of some repair and maintenance. The large pool at the complex was not working. We were told the pool pump was broken and would probably be fixed during our stay, which it never was. It was therefore a pool of dark green water.

My flight was delayed and I got to the property later than expected, there where no one to check me in. The next day I returned to the property and was told that and the security guard that was instructed me the night that the office was closed, was also instituted to check me in. I had to find alternative place to stay that night.

Good location. I stayed here a few times and the grounds have deteriorated a lot. Nice comfortable apartment. The lady that gave me the keys was lovely and helpful. I forgot to leave a tip, but the service was worth a tip.

Very Disappointed with misleading advertisement!

I am a frequent traveler, and have visited many hotels, and resorts in Jamaica. Condos at the Ridge has made such misleading advertisement, such as, Wifi available (which was not!), Restaurant on open (which was not!). It was very dark, dull, empty and deserted. I could not stay, and had to leave the property immediately, as I really needed the advertised requirements.

I didn't get what I paid for

I booked a condo with bedroom, kitchen and sitting area which I thought I was getting, instead I got a very small room, no sitting area two plastic chairs to sit on, I was so disappointed and misleading, I thought I was getting what I saw online, a condo with a kitchen and sitting area, I have to use my bed as a table to eat my food. I will put it out there and show what I got for how much I pay.

Location is the only benefit...

So disappointing to see this resort going downhill so quickly. Over past visits it had clearly been neglected & deteriorating, but it’s too difficult to overlook all the issues that are evident simply because of a great location. The low cost doesn’t even justify the lack of acceptable conditions. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Condo at the Ridge, the photographs on line does not do it justice, beautiful surroundings with its immaculate gardens. The room and bathroom was clean but could do with renovating and some upgrade, the staff was lovely and helpful the pool was nice and clean. We had the use of a phone for free local and international calls we found this useful. Overall very good value for the money. we would recommend it and will stay again.

WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL AT 4:00 PM I WAS TOLD ROOM WAS NOT READY.DUE TO A ACCIDENT INJURED MY ANKLE TOLD THEM CHECK IN TIME WAS AFTER 3:00. TO MY SURPRISE WHEN THEY TOOK ME TO THE ROOM SOMEONE ELSE WAS IN THE ROOM MOVING THERE BELONGINGS OUT. NEVER EXPERIENCE THIS TREATMENT AS LONG AS I HAVE BEEN TRAVELING TO JAMAICA OVER 20 YEARS. I PAID FOR A ROOM WITH A KITCHEN IN THE ROOM WAS TOLD THAT I DID NOT PAY FOR THAT .BASE ON WHAT IS ADVERTISE IS NOT WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU GO TO CONDOS ON THE RIDGE. THESE UNITS ARE OWNED BY INDIVAUL PEOPLE SO WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO THE DESK THEY CAN NOT CHECK YOU IN. I WOULD NOT ADVISE OR RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT SOMETHING THAT THEY CARE ABOUT.
