Enjoy the breathtaking views from our rooftop deck overlooking the beautiful dunes while you BBQ and relax by the fire pit. This is the 2nd time we rented this place, which should speak for itself. The only negative is that the beach which is literally a few steps from the front door is not ideal for younger children. It was stocked very good and the rooftop deck was a bonus. Kelle was super responsive in all the questions I had. We had a great stay overall. The only part I missed during my research is that the beach which is walking 2 mins from this house, is the motorable part of Pismo beach. With 5-8 year olds in our group, we decided not to setup camp there. The kids did play on the dunes part of this beach which was super fun for them. And every morning we walked to Deltina Coffee, explored several fun Oceano stops (the historic railroad museum and The Place on PCH are both great places to explore). This kids played at the beach and in the ocean from sun up to sunset with some evenings having a hard time staying awake through dinner due to fun exhaustion. The sleeping arrangements were perfect. The 4 grandsons didn't ever want to leave the bunkbed room with a TV when it was time to go home. The kids and their spouses said the 2 other bedrooms downstairs were comfortable. The main reason I picked this house was because it had a gas BBQ, which ended up being our only complaint. The side burner worked fine, but the BBQ its self is not worth even trying to use. We only planned to cook burgers one night for dinner and the burners were so bad that the meal was almost ruined, we were so glad we didn't plan our meals around the BBQ because the burners were burned out and as a result there is no way to control the heat. My husband is a seasoned BBQ entusiast and found the this situation very frustrating. All the kids both grown and small enjoyed the ping-pong table, corn hole, beach toys, air hockey, and having an outside shower with warm water. It was nice having a house close to the beach so if we needed something or needed to use the bathroom, we could just walk back to the house in about 10 minutes. We were glad that vehicles weren't zooming up and down the beach and not sure it would have been as pleasant had there been traffic on the beach. The thank you note from our 9 year old grandson said, "this was the best vacation ever!" We are hoping to return next year. All interaction with property managers was great! ##### Gaylene A. It is true we neglected to bring a meat thermometer and there wasn’t one in the kitchen, but that had to be the only missing thing!! ##### Melinda B.
