"Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean. Our room had an excellent balcony. The view is quite amazing. Ate dinner at the Hotel restaurant. Very pleasant staff and good food. The only reason I knocked the surrounding area was because they are working on a new gondola next door and it was a bit messy. Not the hotels fault. We were able to have them hold our bags so we could explore the area and come back later and check in. Front desk clerk Andi was a hoot and a good idea person for hikes. Just don’t believe him when he says it’s a little uphill because he must be part Billy goat. It was a lot uphill but very worth it. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"This is a very nice place. Located in a central place, close to almost everything, especially the train station. The beautiful mountain is right outside, especially a great view from the balcony. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome! The best one we had on our European trip. And the girl who takes care of the breakfast is so sweet and nice, always makes sure to say "Goodbye" when you are leaving. I loved this place. It's a great value, especially the breakfast. I would definitely stay here when we return. "

"Excellent chalet experience a very short walk to the Grindelwald train station (and onward to the Jungfraujoch from there). Nice rooms with pleasant views, decent breakfast. Small bathrooms and showers though."
