We were met by our host at approximately 8 pm on the first night of our stay. We had provided an approximate time beforehand to help. We were then given the tour, which was extremely helpful. We loved the room - so clean and spacious with en-suite and the sea view was breathtaking. The new bath was very much welcomed, although we just used the superb walk-in shower provided during our stay. There were nice additional touches in the room, e.g. some whiskey to sample, tooth picks, cotton...

Wonderful greeting and welcoming from Darren and Karen. Perfect instructions, their local knowledge and enthusiasm and love for the area is limitless. A great room in a fantastic location. Absolutely superb service by all the staff that we came across. We were, however, disappointed by the truncation of the menu - no beef/venison on the main menu - and we had been so looking forward to trying both. The staff told us that this was because the hotel was about to shut down for the winter. Such was the rest of our experience during this stay, we will be back next year, hopefully with beef and venison restored to the menu.

Great location, lots of parking, easy to find. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, clean and the room felt calm and peaceful (although you can hear other guests coming and going). You have use of shared kitchen and lounge which has a partial view of the bay. The room (Nr 3) was a good size but there was little space within the bathroom for toiletries etc, the sink was small, and a light next to the desk would be useful if I'm being picky!
