"It was okay. We felt let down by both the hotel and the town. Everything was so overpriced. This hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was good. However, we chose our room based on the photos on Hotels.com and the room we got was smaller and not as nice -- the front desk said the photos show deluxe rooms. The hotel needs to update their listening so the photos are accurate. This was our "splurge night" meaning we chose to pay a higher price for a nice place than the typical budget motels we stayed in for most of our road trip; but it felt like a high end motel or low end hotel. The hotel is "pet friendly" so there were consistently dogs barking. We were in a ground floor room about 6 doors down from the lobby and you could hear everything in the halls and lobby. We were constantly woken up late at night and early in the morning by dogs barking, people talking, and doors slamming. We appreciated the breakfast burritos but my daughter doesn't like eggs and the only other choices were cereal, muffins, or bagels (the hotel charges you a $10 per night ammenities fee to help cover the cost of the breakfast and the shuttle). We weren't thrilled that the shampoo & conditioner were empty & the bodywash was completely missing from the wall, plus there was only one roll of half used toilet paper. We came for the Saturday farmers' market and artisan fair but they were small and overpriced. $5 for a bushel of carrots, $12 or more for a jar of salsa, etc. Won't be back."
