"I've visited Dunsmuir in the recent past, but my forst time staying at the Lodging- it was a wonderful stay. My companion & I were comfortable, the room was clean, spacious, and plenty of amenities (mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker); it was near I-5, so the hum of cars driving by was in our opinion ok ( we live near a freeway so that was a peaceful hum). Penny's Diner was awesome, too!"

"The facility was well maintained, the owners clearly have pride in their business. Room was small no doubt but the built in vanity was so cute and overall it had everything needed for a sleep and go stop or even a multiple day stay. Pool area was so pretty and the staff was friendly, I accidentally took the remote and went back to return it.. oops. Area felt cozy and safe"

The microwave and fridge were super nice and convenient. I loved the options for food around the area that the hotel gives answering any questions. What a perfect way to end a trip to Mount Shasta.
