One of the nicer hotels in Dunsmuir and super clean and well appointed! Remote check-in was awesome (they send door code up to 1 hr prior to check in). Located in the historic district of Dunsmuir so easily walkable to the lovely brewery with outdoor seating just down the street (live music on weekends!) Don’t miss Hedge Creek Falls and Penny’s 24 hr diner!!

Let me provide some context. My traveling companion and I arrived after dark expecting to meet hotel staff. This location operates as a no-contact location, and the radio on premises had a scratchy connection. I talked to the personnel who answered the phone number listed as opposed to the scratchy radio, They directed me to text messages to which I had not responded. Once I respond to the text messages, I was able to enter the room. The room as was small, cozy, and comfortable. The room was relatively small for for two adults, but it served well for a one-night stay. We left the next morning, so I cannot speak to the amenities or the location. There was no included breakfast or that sort of thing. Parking was more or less fully occupied when we arrived, but fortunately, there was one space left; that was all we needed.

Very clean and recently remodeled. But it's like being in a basement room. There is a window to the parking and street. Odd arrangement with the coffee area essentially in the bathroom. No towel bars near the shower. Not a place to hang out other than to sleep or watch TV. No amenities. So I'd say it is overpriced. I'll stay somewhere else next time.

The location is perfect for an overnight stay, and the process was quick and efficient. The property has had an amazing facelift - it's comfortable, warm, and very clean. The only thing, that truly can't be helped, was the surrounding structures - vacant next door, interesting neighbors across the street ----- but outside of that, everything was secure, safe, and great.

It's in a convenient location near the freeway and within walking distance of their old town if you want to walk a bit. Prior to the trip I already knew it was self check-in and there would be no front desk, etc so that was fine. It's like staying at a bnb where you are given a code and you let yourself in your room. The room was pleasant and recently renovated. I liked the colors and layout. It's a good place to stay with pets.

Nice for a "motel" like property, and comfortable enough. But there is not staff here (except housekeeping in the mourning), so if there is any problem it's not super easy to get help. I texted and never heard back. Clean all around and interiors were comfortable. The bed had big divots on each side, giving me the impression it was pretty old. Big plus - free ice! I'll probably try another place next time.
