Americana Modern Hotel

"Surprising gem in the heart of Redding! Older property which has been refurbished in a modern, clean style. On check in, staff was friendly, informative, and quick. They offered suggestions for dinner, all of which sounded wonderful. We chose Pipeline Brewery just a block and change away so an easy walk after a long day at Lassen hiking. Wow, what a winner! I had the best Reuben sandwich I ever ate in my life and my husband's classic burger was stellar! Highly recommend it. Room itself was super clean, really comfortable bed, and quiet for the location. We felt very safe and were on the ground floor. No breakfast served but complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate were available, along with an assortment of granola bars and water bottles. Would totally stay here again. Checkout was seamless and friendly, once again. Kudos to the folks at Americana. They are doing an excellent job!"

"I almost never write reviews, but this time I just couldn’t pass without leaving one. This was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. First of all, our car broke down and we weren’t able to arrive until around 5 a.m. The hotel was incredibly understanding and allowed us to check in that late. On top of that, they gave us extra time to rest, even though our original check-out time was 11 a.m. After such a difficult and exhausting night, being able to get some extra sleep meant so much to us. We truly appreciated their kindness and understanding. And the hotel itself deserves a separate mention. It was incredibly cozy, exceptionally clean, and smelled wonderful throughout. Thank you so much to the hotel staff for taking such great care of us and providing such an amazing experience. Everything was handled at the highest level, and we are truly grateful!"

"The location was great.. within walking distance of everything downtown Chico. The thing that surprised me the most was when I closed the door of the hotel room, I couldn't hear anything else from Outside. VERY QUIET. the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was decent. Good quality for the price. I paid."

"Rooms are clean, well updated. Staff is wonderful and breakfast is yummy, just enough to fill you up and get a good start. The property felt safe even at 2am when I couldnt sleep and needed some air. This is our 2nd time staying here and has officially become our favorite redding stay."

"Nice property. Near fwy. Food and shopping within walking distance. Pool warm. Hot tub hot. Breakfast standard. In the middle of an upgrade but still a good stay. Accessible room had good space and the door opened outward which was very convenient."
