Our stay was short but we really enjoyed it sooo much, the hotel was in the city center very close to the shopping mall just 10 min walking , to the lake and to the casino , you will enjoy it, the staff are super , we appreciate Stacy warm welcome and her hospitality. The Restorant was good with continental breakfast .
It's brand new and it's spacious. Attention to detail has been made. The beds are very comfortable. The location is brilliant. I have nothing to fault except the shower pressure... the environmentally friendly shower pressure is not compatible with the rainforest shower head! But this is the same in all new hotels.
A word of warning - book dinner at Marble and Grain well in advance, otherwise you will miss out!
The staff were great and the room lovely. The only thing I'd like to see is parking for free (costs $12) but luckily there's many free parking places nearby on the street. Close to the artsy part of town but if you're looking for food on a Saturday or Sunday be prepared to head back in town if you don't feel like eating at the hotel
Easy check in and check out, friendly staff at the counter. The apapartment is a bit dated however clean, and the location makes up for it. Limited toiletries but you can ask reception for washing powder.

Very modern & clean as a whistle. 'Curated books' on the shelf were a bit of a giggle - 'Winnie The Pooh'?
Lovely rainshwr. Great soubd booster for my Ipod. Generous balcony, with ample chairs & a nice view.
Room service was always quick & served with a smile. Food was delicious, as was the house gin (West Winds).
The only fault? It's design does NOT lend itself to retaining heat, as per thr info card left in the aptmt upon arrvl. The 2 chambers that seal the room were positively frigid, & the actual apt didn't rise much above 20% celcius duribg my 3 days there.
Apart from that - its a fantastic establishment that is well worth a look.
Northern Canberra is one of the oldest areas of Australia's capital city. Lake Burley Griffin sits to the south, while Mt. Majura Nature Reserve and the Australian War Memorial are to the east. The area is also home to the Canberra Museum & Gallery and Thoroughbred Park, a must visit for horse-racing enthusiasts. Canberra International Airport (CBA) is to the southeast.
